If not RG3, I would have gone with McCoy. Cousins is the worst of the three IMO. I think it's partially concussion-related and RG3 will start again this season.

McCoy is not a starting caliber NFL QB. He's a good backup and that's it.

I agree, but none of the three are. McCoy gives you solid, decent play, RG3 gives you upside if he ever settles down and makes reads (which admittedly is looking pretty unlikely at this point), and Cousins gives you neither.

McCoy can't throw the ball past 10 yards. He gives you nothing. A game manager at best.

Cousins just needs to let the mistakes go. He tries too hard after making one.

Cousins might be past his rookie year, but the plays he made last year were essentially rookie level. And most rookies throw lots of INTs. I'd love to see Cousins in a position where he knows he's the starter and that he's not going to be pulled.

Neither can Alex Smith. He's also not going to throw four interceptions in a game.

The football team in Washington can become the Warriors, Generals, Senators, Girlie Girls, Sasquatches, whatever they want to name them, if it means Dan Snyder goes away.

Dan Snyder being Dan Snyder preventing this from happening. There's no reason for us to have a good GM if Snyder won't let them do their job.

It's not a done deal yet that he's staying on the roster. It seems as if most want him gone. If SM is allowed to cut him I will have faith in the franchise (if that's what the GM wants to do).

according to the Inside Redskins show on the local channel here today, it's the coaches and SM vs Snyder. I'll let you guess who is on what side.

That said, they are looking for a trade, not to cut him. And "apparently" no one is interested.

That sounds like it all came straight from that ESPN article haha

Cooley said everyone is in agreement that it's time to move on.
