Is there a more under-the-radar team right now than the Redskins? On one hand, they have only a plus-3 point differential, but on the other hand, they're 4-0 against teams that entered their game with a winning record. Washington hosts the 4-5 Packers on Sunday night.

So you have to overpay and keep Cousins. Maybe he'll never be elite, but he's pretty gosh darn good and right now is a struggle to get even pretty gosh darn good qbs. Might suck, but it's better than hoping you find another decent cheap option..

I don't think the Skins will overpay though (and they shouldn't IMO). I really like Cousins and hope they do re-sign him, but not at the expense of making the team better in other areas (DEFENSE).

I think they'll come to a middle ground and agree to a contract (unless another team comes in and overpays a la Brock).

He shouldn't make Brock money, but he's going to make an insane paycheck. Might as well be with the Redskins.

RB Rob Kelley has averaged 4.8 yards per rush, 10th best in the NFL, with no fumbles on 60 rushes this season. QB Kirk Cousins has been much more effective on play-action with Kelley on the field, posting a 96.6 Total QBR on such plays with him and 76.8 without. (ESPN Stats & Info)

Another great game for Cousins. A lot of those throws were into the wind.

Fat Rob with a great game as well. He's a pretty good RB it seems.

Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins was named the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week for his performance vs. Green Bay. Cousins completed 21-of-30 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-24 win. It's the first time Cousins has won the award this season and third time in his career. That ties him for the franchise high since the award was started in 1984.

But............................Cowboys won Mr. Yankee & I do believe that's twice this year for the Skins to get a Cowboys victory over them! LOL! :):wink:
