Hail to the Washington Commanders

all the makings of a playoff year. much more than that? nah, i doubt it, although there's no serious threats imo anywhere in the NFC, so who knows? All i know is Gibbs has us at 2-0. Definitely eases the pain. A lot.

Well... Looks like it's between the Boys and the Skins for the NFC East this year.

Bring it on. :aggressive:

Yeah I posted this in your 3 yr anniversary thread. As a lover of football and historic rivalries, I think it is cool that Washington vs. Dallas should have real significance this year. I need to start working on getting some tickets for the game here in TX.

Kinda reminded me of a comment I heard on PTI yesterday...

Kornheiser quoted some columnist (I forget who) but it went something like this: "Dallas is 2-0, Washington is 2-0, Green Bay is 2-0, San Francisco is 2-0 and OJ is in trouble again. We're back in the mid-90's!"

Resultant from several things. First and foremost is the improved depth of the secondary. Guys like Leigh Torrence and David Macklin are head over heels better than Kenny Wright and Michael Rumph and you saw that last night. They completely blanketed Eagle receivers. The addition of Landry and combining him with Taylor and allowing Taylor to drop to Free Safety, where he is SUPPOSE to play, unlike last year, has made a hug difference. Rocky McIntosh's impact is huge compared to the barely alive Warrick Holdman of last year. Skins made some significant upgrades, but most of all can be attributed to London Fletcher, the QB of this defense.

Offensively, Jason Campbell continue to mature and get better each week. Alot of national media sources are saying last night may have been the defining game in his career that turned him into a fin QB, I disagree. I think it is a process more than a single game or play or event. Each week he has better command of the offense, gains more respect from the offense and executes in a better fashion. Lats night was one of those moves forward int he development process nights for Campbell.

Thing I think alot of people are realizing, this team is much much much different than 2006.

Campbell has a ton of upside. I'm hoping that he continues to grow the right way. It's been a long time since the Skins had a QB that they can really count on.

As bammeresque as Cowboy fans are I will probably catch a lot of grief for wearing my Skins gear. Not that I really care.
Want me to drive down there? We'll just clean them out. :yess:

Lord knows I can't get tickets at Fed Ex to see them. Well I could for an arm and a leg, but I need those.

He does have a cannon for an arm.
hell, i knew that in 2004 when i saw him dropping bombs against us in two games!!!! i knew it. you're a closet Auburn fan. that's probably someone else's arm in your avatar!!!! :p
