Hail to the Washington Commanders

I hope we get Dak somehow.
Y’all should try and get Darnold. With the right staff I think he can still be really good
Well I can’t figure out how pull off getting Dak, but all possibilities considered, he’d be my number one choice.
I think Darnold is most likely if we somehow get an outside the organization quarterback

We have a good amount of cap space (even better if we drop Alex). Dallas doesn't. There's a slight chance I believe.

What did Arizona get for Rosen, a 2nd?

I'd be good with giving up a 3rd round pick for him.
Yes. AZ got a 2nd round pick for Rosen, which shows you exactly how stupid Miami was. Darnold is horrible though. Washington would be better off going for Dak.

The Athletic predicts WFT trades their 2021 and 2022 first round picks along with their 2021 third round pick to get the Lions number 8 overall pick. They use said pick to draft Trey Lance.

Fwiw, Todd McShay ranks Lance slightly ahead of Fields, and says he’ll be a top 5 pick

Lions getting a lot of first round picks the next couple of years.

I swear if we draft that kid... I'd rather draft Trask than a guy who started all of 17 games.

He’s highly touted across the board. I’ve never seen him play. I just know people get paid a lot to know more about this than I do. As long as Snyder stays out of it, I feel like the people in office for WFT know what they’re doing these days. I’ll trust em till they make me not trust em.

QBs who start 1 year (which is basically what Lance did), have had ZERO success in the NFL for the most part. I'll pass

Nothing for nothing, but they get paid a lot more than you too. That’s gotta be a small sample size so I wouldn’t glean anything from such a narrowed down statistic.

It's been mentioned anytime it's happened by pundits

Haskins
Trubisky
Butt Fumble (Sanchez)
Akili Smith

Though a few have been decent as well:
Newton
Kyler Murray
Tannehill (though took awhile)

As a Lions fan I absolutely would do this deal.
