Hail to the Washington Commanders

Belichick will get his for running up the score. You could score 100 points and it won't cover up the fact that you're a cheater.

I was thinking the samething when they said they were having communication problems from the booth to the sideline.

Wouldn't have mattered though.

Man, I caught crap from all my friends (skin fans) here in Memphis talking about how they were going to put Brady out. We all got together had some beer and stuff and ill tell ya, there are some pissed off skin fans right now, wow. I did make some good money off the skins tonight, but it just blows my mind why the skins didnt get more points. I think they just had a very off day myself, cause they do have some players on that team.

Belichick gets under Redskins LB, Randal Godfrey's skin.

"I said something to (Belichick) after the game," Godfrey said to NBCSports.com. "I told him, 'You need to show some respect for the game.' You just don't do that. I don't care how bad it is. You're up 35 points and you're still throwing deep? That's no respect."

You look at all the great head coaches ... I'm just disappointed," he said. You gotta show some class, show some respect. Joe Gibbs? We wouldn't have done that. Bill Walsh? You wouldn't see those types of guys doing that stuff. I've never seen nothing like that. Most teams, you get up like that you sit on the ball and try to run the time out. They're up 30-some points and they're throwing deep. That was blatant disrespect. I hope we can see them again, definitely. You don't see Joe Gibbs doing that. You can't even imagine that kind of stuff coming from him. Joe Gibbs. Bill Walsh. Bill Parcells. This isn't like college going for power rankings. This is the pros you show some respect, show some class."

Belichick responded -

I've been coaching too long," Belichick said. "I remember being on that side. When I was coaching defense it was my job to keep the score down, not theirs. When you're playing defense it's your job to stop them. It's not (the offense's) job to not score. It's like I tell the offense, what the (bleep) do you think I send you guys out there for? To punt? We have a punt team for that. That's not your job. Your job is to go out there and score points. If you come off the field and you haven't scored points you haven't done your job."

Gibbs said he didn't have a problem with it. It aggravated me a bit, but oh well.

showing some class would be a Redskins player not whining about getting his head handed to him on a platter.

I'm no fan of the Pats or the Redskins, but every time I heard Joe Theisman do his Lou Holtz impression on MNF, I hated the Redskins a little more.

OWB, vader, all others... this loss still hurts. a lot

however, if you can't stop the other team's offense, that's your own freakin fault, especially in the NFL.

I will never complain about a team running up the score. If you can't stop them, it is your problem. To whine about it just looks sad.

After that Pats beatdown, the Skins will most likely be pissed. Who knows, that might have been a wake up call for 'em.

Thats what I was thinking of. They are going to want to come out and play some football, watch..

I haven't been here all day, but come on OWB, Vader, XtennesseeX... no love after a skins win? who cares that it was against the jets, and they took us to OT. A win is a win. GO SKINS. I hope the pats are ready for a rematch in the super bowl!

I was a post slacker yesterday. The only coverage I saw of the skins yesterday was when the local station went to their game for the final FG in OT. I guess a win is a win.

I was disappointed of the Redskins today. They beat themselves. Late 4th quarter meltdown. Gibbs should have went for it on 4th & Goal, ball on 3.

what a letdown. I've never felt ill feelings towards one Joe Gibbs, but I'm beginning to think he needs to go back to NASCAR....

I must have a serious mental defect to remain a Redskins fan living in Dallas.

As much as I hate to say it, I am turning the corner on Gibbs, myself.

i can't begin to describe it. I've viewed this coach as "the man" for as long as I can remember, no lie. He led the skins to through the glory years of the mid to late eighties that bled into the early nineties. Those are my earliest memories of the NFL. I became a Tony Stewart fan simply because he's Tony's boss. He's led the Milligan College Buffaloes to so many NCAA Championships on playstation that it's not funny. But, I guess the times they are a changin'.

Agreed.

BTW, the group may stay at 3rd Base Sports Bar in Frisco and it is a non smoking, kid friendly environment. Do you get the weekly emails?
