I was very impressed with Daniels. Particularly on a few plays where he had to immediately get ride of the ball or be sacked. Several times he took the hit while quickly finding an open receiver or outlet. These plays are tough for any QB, and it’s extremely impressive to see a rookie making them.

The whole Washington offense played well though. It’s true that the Lions kept shooting themselves in the foot, but that doesn’t take away how well Washington played.

Unbelievable season. A ride I’ve never been on as a grown up. Tons of cap space to get even better. The right atmosphere. A franchise qb. Looks like the new stadium will actually be inside the District. There’s no moral victories, but things are bright inside the beltway…

Exactly where I’m at. Does sting that it feels like this might be a tight game if it weren’t for the self inflicted wounds but if it weren’t for a botched handoff by Baker in the first playoff game we might’ve not have even been here in the first place. Future is still potentially very bright.

Washington had a great year and the future looks bright for them. I've been very impressed with the way Daniels has played, he's going to be fun to watch over the course of his career.
