Halftime adjustments

We are punting because we want to give our players a sense of pride. You dont want them to lose confidence going into Florida. We play like we are always in the game, never give up no matter how awful it looks.

Rah rah rah..

The only adjustment this team should make is changing the flight time to earlier this evening. Our secondary looks like they are made of stone or are stoned. The offense should be pushing their D line back every play and yet they seem to be playing this game from 5 yards back every play. Maybe if our QB kept the ball just once and ran it instead of thinking he was fooling anyone by jogging forward he might make a huge play.
I think Jones will turn the program around but this game is a hard one to watch. :shakehead:

Who cares....we were lambs to slaughter anyway. CBJ needs to remind these kids our season starts next week in Florida. That is all that matters now!

We need to stop the bleeding. . Line up in two tights, power I formation and run it down their throat, then play action. . Simple enough

This. Need to run the ball between the tackles. Eat up clock and get the heck out of dodge with no more injuries. We all knew this was going to get ugly. Well 90% of us did. The other 10% were morons for thinking we actually had a chance against Oregon's speed.

One thing we do have against Oregon is that we look more disciplined. They make so many errors (not that it matters to them).
With an offense like that, you can make all he mistakes you want. It doesn't really matter to them.

We keep playing as hard as we can. We keep our heads held high. We are Tennessee. This is a reality check for me. Oregon is not just hype and we are in the first year of a rebuild. This is going exactly as most predicte. I expected more then I should have. Just hope we make it more competitive in 2nd half. VFL and GBO"!!

What adjustments do we need to make at the half? We just got punched in the mouth, how do we respond?

We have to see how we do at other aspects of the game than just running I think. We gotta see if we have another weapon available.

I agree with this. However, I still think Oregon is over-hyped. Their lack of discipline on the field will cost them a big game. They have the same problem every year, and that is too many penalties.

I never said he was like him, I said he was not doing that bad. He has controlled the ball fine and hasn't thrown an interception. I think if Bray was QB right now the score would be the same.

True. But you can tell there's was no priority. To coach up another WB under Dooley.

Your right but only bc the balls he has thrown have landed nowhere near the WR which is where a CB usually is unless you play at UT.

I'm sure Butch feels like we need more practice in the punting and kick return game. *****in Fil Phulmer lite.

I am convinced, if the Ducks want to, they will score over 100 today. Vols will continue to go 3 and out and Ducks could continue to score in 5 plays on every drive.

Got to put in a qb that can pose a threat of doing something. Worley is No threat to pass no threat to run. Put in a freshmen and let him learn on the job. Worley is not a d1 qb period. I'd rather loose with a freshman than play someone with no ability.
