Need to get the ball to the RBs at least every now and then to keep D honest.

We are vulnerable right now to a phenomenon that is very common and has happened countless times throughout cfb history. We have a lead and all the momentum. But halftime comes and everybody has a chance to catch their breath and the team that is on top starts feeling like they've already won the game.

The team that is down on the scoreboard comes out fired-up to get themselves back in the game and the next thing you know, the momentum shifts and a win turns into a loss.

I hope Butch is warning the team to come out and sustain the same level of intensity as they had in the first-half.

This is the most important game of the season right now. Offense not playing well, no rhythm, too many penalties. He wanted a cheap 6, which he had if Pig executes. Just win this game and don't give Utah St any life.

Ok. First game of the year. Not a horrible first half but we need to come out in the second half and absolutely destroy this team. Way to many missed opportunities in the first half! We have to capitalize on the field position when we get it! Way to many dropped passes, and it seams we have abandoned the run game so far. Utah State has a pretty good D line so I'm not sure what to think about our O line yet. Worley has impressed me so far. Made good decisions and protected the football. Our WR's need to help him out and CATCH THE DAMN BALL! Defense is playing lights out! Nice to see AJ flying around as usual! D Line is ballin'! Looking for the D to come out on the opening possession and shut them down and get the foozball back in the cheggerboards! GBO!

By the way I am half lit on that good ole' mountain dew so if I'm not making any sense you'll have to excuse me! LOL! SICK EM' SMOKEY!

Good: Defense, sped and ST (other than 1st FG)
Bad: Should have a minimum of 7 more points, probably a little more
Ugly: Overall Oline play, penalties, run push, some protection issues. Needs to gel and adjust in 2nd half

I havent seen the effort. If we cant run it any better than we have vs 6 in the box vs Utah State......gonna be tough sledding vs good defense. Other than that, cant complain, considering how this was gonna be such a ball game.

Good: Defense clearly is improved from last year, potential to be really good.
Bad: Not much running game, that will be a problem against SEC competition.
Ugly: The missed FG, I guess.

Agree 100%


They need vast improvement on all phases! Espically run blocking. We shall see what type of offense Cordinator we have in week three. Play calling to our strength on offense will be show from that point on.

I'll be the first to say Worley played a good game 20 yards and in. Past 20 :(
