Since BP appears to be doing his thing, at least contact him and see if he'd be interested in coaching a few more years. I don't think he enjoys broadcasting.I do recall him watching our games and basically coaching what we should be doing,ie., "When guy is shooting and hitting threes, hands in his face".

You have got to be kidding me?

Why does everyone believe CBP is gone, and why would we want someone like Bobby Knight?

Bobby Knight hates to recruit, and at UT you must be able to go nationally and recruit.

Why dont we just hire you as coach since you knew exactly what we should be doing?

I am sure you would come much cheaper than Bobby Knight!

you people have shorter memories than house flies, we have no basketball program without pearl...we won the east this year with a team that's still in diapers. this is the equivolent of ole miss firing cutcliffe after one down year. we need to remember who we are historically in basketball, and then look at where we're at right now, without pearl we're not relevant and he deserves more respect than he's getting from alot of you.

I don't see the problem. If Pearl is free to look for a better job, UT is free to look for a better coach. No big deal.

a junior transfer who has already played D-I ball is young? Overrated but not young. Also another Jr and RS Fr came off the bench. By your 30th game there are no youngsters anymore.

it would be impossible to get a coach that could ever match what CBP has done at UT. That's just crazy talk :crazy:

Often I'm amused by ignorant ramblings of a few Vol "fans"...but this is downright inane! B. Knight WAS one of the best ever, but he's 67 (I'm 61). He's the best analyst on t.v. Coach Pearl is our coach & has brought UT to new heights. It's only going to get better, too.
