Yeah, because if I'm a blue chip football recruit I'm really gonna base my decision off of a basketball game...

If this was the case, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UConn, etc. would all be powerhouse football programs.

I don't think anyone believes that a football recruit is gonna base his entire decision on the outcome of a basketball game, but didn't we pick up a basketball commitment in part because of the black jerseys. TN winning a game like that definitely has to help.

Anyone with 4 years of eligibility is a recruit in Kiffin's eyes.... So in that case, I would guess somewhere around 5,000.. I would guess higher but there are alot of blue hairs that wouldn't be eligilible.

Not a blue hair and not really sure about my eligibility, but I am pretty certain my star rating on Rivals is somewhere in the negative teens, if not lower. I am pretty sure Kiffin will probably persuade me to see if Slippery Rock will offer me a walk-on opportunity to be the their water boy.

Brilliant idea scheduling the Kansas game during a football recruiting dead period. Would have great having a half-dozen 4-5* football recruits in a jam packed TBA with Rocky Top playing.

Weak attack on Hamilton buddy. You couldn't have come up with something better then that? This is a great time to schedule the game because the coaches can't talk to the players right now but they still see Tennessee wherever they go cause we just beat the #1 team in the nation in basketball.

This school is getting in the media for the right reasons "finally" during a time when recruits have nothing better to do than sit around and think about decisions they have or haven't made yet.

Way to go Hamilton and Way to go Tennessee for a great game and some positive media.
