Hansbrough out indefinitely...

Luke Harangody was the Big East player of the year last season. I'd say that qualifies as being a pretty good big man.

wow. Shows how little I pay attention to the 3,492 teams in the Big East. I just assumed he was a senior last year. Looking it up, I realize he's only a junior.

The Tarholes have a couple of incoming freshmen big men. It will be interesting to see if either of them can step up and slow him down. One of them is a 7 footer.

Well...apparently indefinitely meant until the start of the season...so those of you looking for any sign that UNC is going to disappoint this year can pick your magnifying glasses back up and start knit picking again

Good Teams have to learn how to play if their main man isn't out on the floor.

They will. But to say UNC wouldn't lose a step with out him is a ridiculous statement. He's an amazing player (at the college level atleast) and would be missed if this was serious. Take off those Duke sunglasses and give the kid some props. If UNC goes deep this year that kid is a main reason.

It takes a magnifying glass to see the key components of this team are the same guys who completely collapsed against Georgetown and Kansas?

I was just trying to draw you out Hat..:) I'm well aware of your distaste for Hansbrough and the Heels...

Do you not think they are the best team...regardless of the choke jobs they've pulled off the past two years

They're certainly the most talented. However, UCONN was by far the most talented team in 2006.

damn you hat..that was specifically put there for BPV
not getting me out. UNC actually has the best team this time. Their D will still suck and the officials will still treat Hansbrough with kid gloves.

I do think UConn can give them trouble.

People seem to be forgetting that Louisville played them to the wire on one of UNC's de facto home courts in the regional final.

Louisville will win the NC this year

:birgits_giggle:..To all you haters. UNC went to the Final Four last year & added 3 McDonald Allstars to the team, but Louiville is going to win? Oh yeah & UCONN Bring It On:popcorn:The Tarheels have so much depth that without the starting 5 in they would still be a top 25 team. Its the Tarheels year to shine. This year the only difference in PSYCHO T being out is it being a close win for UNC because when he is in its going to be a blowout. Oh yeah and Roy Williams chokes? I dont know how UNC beat the then number 1 Illinois team in 2005. Yeah he is a choker:yes:...
