Happy Gators Day

Yeah Vandy should be down this every year, I'll give you that.

fify

I used to not dislike Vandy, kind of pitied them actually. However, when having back to back winning seasons for the first time in 90 years goes straight to your head which you think gives you the right to talk smack, you deserve beat downs of epic proportions. And while I'll never like Florida, I'll give a quick "Go Gata" on November 8th.

You met my expectations. You didn't disappoint.

Perhaps one day soon you'll be able to run smack at UF fans about UT beating UF, instead of running smack about everyone...and I do mean everyone...other than UT beating UF.

I would reply but....I got nothing. Losing to you guys last year is about as low as I've gotten in this series.

Musclecramp. That's great.

While 7-5 looks good next to 4-8 it's hard to feel confident that he's a championship level coach after 4 seasons with that win total. Harder to have patience when you were winning championships just a few years ago. I guess the question that will be answered this fall is he closer to a four win coach or an 11 win coach.

What's bad is 7-5 looks pretty darn good in the Volunteer state right now.

I'm still shocked at how few difference makers they have at the skill positions with all the 4.5 guys practically growing on trees down there.

Dude, I'm a Tennessee fan. What do you expect? We've never had a 4 win season. I didn't write the record books.

I think you mean that Tennessee has never had an 8 loss season (only tOSU can say the same). By my count, UT has had twelve 4 win seasons.

Letter many former UF season ticket holders got from the ticket office recently.

Hello Mr. Former Season Ticket Holder,

We noticed that you have not yet renewed your season tickets for the 2014 season. If you are interested in doing so, please contact the Gator Ticket Office at (352) 375-4683 to do so by Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. We look forward to hearing from you.

Its Great to be a Florida Gator!

A friend of mine who didn't renew his season tickets fired back with this response....

Hello Gator Ticket Office,

We noticed that you have not yet cancelled your contract with William Larry Muschamp for the 2014 season. If you are interested in having any Gator games aired on CBS and starting at times other than noon, please terminate his employment by Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. and I'd be happy to purchase tickets. We look forward to hearing from you.

Its Great to be a Florida Gator, except Monday mornings at work when everyone is like "WTF! Ga Southern?"

It's sad how far Vol fans will reach to have something to brag about. Not having an 8 loss season is about the dumbest thing to brag about I've ever seen.

That's like bragging to Donald trump (while showing your balance sheet worth $5000) that you've never filed for bankruptcy. He's filed for bankruptcy many times and is doing OK.

My point is, why try to spin a negative accomplishment?

It's actually the most exclusive club there is, only 2 teams.

Have a little pride dude jeez.

Meh...a losing season is a losing season, 5-7, 4-8 or 0-12.

Bama went 3-8 in 2000 and 4-9 in 2003. Since then they've won three national titles.

Mighty Oklahoma had consecutive 8-loss seasons in '96 and '97. They've done okay since then too.

UF went 33 years without a losing season. During that stretch, every SEC school had no less than six losing seasons. Three national titles, a couple Heismans and a handful of SEC titles later, perhaps we were due to take a step back.

Michigan and Tennessee can toast to never having an 8-loss season I guess. No banners, rings or crystal footballs for that "accomplishment", but sure...party on. :good!:

Well then.

Not a "true fan" IMO.

After today I'm trying to decide if we hang 100+ on the Gators or if they hang 100+ on us.
