I have no trouble with Black History Month as long as they are teaching true and accurate history.

What's an example of an inaccuracy that is being taught?

I know of none, but teachers are human too and subject to teach from their own point of view.

What would you say could be some inaccuracies taught about Black History?

This is not a trick question, I'm just picking your mind.

My 1st graders are doing research projects on famous black americans. Its already been so funny to try and explain to them who some of the people are. I tried to do a good "pudding pops" Bill Cosby impression...not only was it a bad impression but they didn't get it.

Honestly though, The Women History Month is what is annoying. We get a dose of all the butt ugly femanists through the years.

spoken like a man who hasn't been within the personal space of a woman in a long, long time. If ever.

Well, for one, that Benjamin Banneker played a major role in the planning of Washington, D.C.

I really doubt that gets taught any more. It was one of those legends that got a life of it's own, but has mostly run it's course.
