If you watch it and this is what you gather from it, then you are looking way too far into this. You put on a costume. You flail around when the bass drops. People laugh. That's it.

Perhaps some forget that the team is made up of college KIDS and they share a campus with other college KIDS. Just because they arent working out and watching film every second of the day doesnt mean they arent good players.

I mention the word stupid in proper context. That whole thing is intended to be a little silly, if not stupid....just for the fun of it. Same with the Korean guy and his youtube video (broken-condom style...:) ). The whole appeal is not the song itself, not a dance routine....but like Jerry Lewis made a living out of playing stupid, I think that's kind of the idea, here.

Well, this might be fun.....

This came up in conversation last night at the farm. Showed my wife the videos. My wife called some of the other lady folk in the family and they are pushing for some of us to head down to join in. They have a sense of humor and I think they just want to see us wiggle on U-Tube.

We are all big UT fans.... Not sure we can make this happen. If we can, be looking for a bunch of big-headed ole Hillbillies most with ZZtop beards. We would be sporting overalls and red one-piece union draws. One or two mentioned they might wear their Scottish great kilts.

i don't hate the guy - it was just an awful performance. unfortunately there were several plays on our orner of the field that had all of us wondering wtf he was doing.

Wow. After reading this thread, it's amazing that VolNation spends football season hurling insults at the old fogies who demand that we sit and shut up in the stadium. Lighten up, folks. It's a few minutes on a Saturday, and we haven't had fun in Neyland in quite some time.

No **** it's not an actual dance. Maybe you should try to get a square dance together since that's what gives you your jollies. It's simply meant to be fun and funny. Too bad you can't appreciate something like that bc you may end up having a good time if u went.

Haha come on really? Theyre not doing this for motivation dude, they have plently of that and if you payed attention to this team you would know that. #117 #RiseToTheTop, how about the past 5 years..., all motivation and pride for the TEAM.

This, on the other hand, is a fun way to get the players involved with the fan base, more specifically the students who will show up, and do something fun that almost every other school/team is doing. But you can be like most of VolNation and find something negative in every damn thing
