Forgive me, I typically do not spend a lot of time following the recruiting process.

Obviously Vol fans should be very excited about a prospect like Harris choosing the Big Orange.

Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not he is taleneted enough to be a one and done player?

He is talented enough, but I think he'll be smart enough to stay at least 2 years to develop his game.

I have watched some video of him and he is a man. I think he could be 1 and done. But I also have to admit after watching Hopson on video coming out of high school I thought he could be 1 and done. But Harris is much bigger, stronger and more physical.

He is good...but not that good. I think a lot of kiddos are learning their lesson after guys like Oden and Conley, etc. But, watching his tape he has great skill sets for a big man, but he is not good enough to make that jump now, or a year form now. We were saying the same thing about Hopson as well. Good question.

I kinda hope he is. Then more top-flight talent like him may see we can send one and dones to the leauge like Cal.

I think Bruce will have the same effect on Harris that he had on Hopson and Tyler Smith. Both thought they were ready, and Bruce showed them that while they had the talent, neither were ready just yet. I also think that has benefited both Tyler and Scotty and Tobias will see that. The other thing to consider is that it would appear that the Tobias' family is not want for money, so that won't be an influence for him. Here's hoping I'm right as it would be nice to see him stick around for a few years. The real question is, how good is his younger brother?

Even though Harris already has NBA size I think he can still develop himself more physically. I have heard some recruiting analysts echo the same.

It appears the Harris family stress education. Expect Tobias to be 2-3 year student/player. He will more than likely finish his degree.

Tyler smith is never going to "ready" for the NBA. He is essentially a fifth year senior. There isn't more preparing for the NBA for him. You either have it or you don't.

What strikes me about Harris' game is how composed it is. He's not gunning for the highlight reel. I haven't seen any defensive clips, but for offense, he's about scoring as efficiently and effectively as possible.

He looks pretty complete right now for a player his size, but I could see him having a stellar 2-3 career at UT and then becoming a lottery pick as he fills out his frame and gets a bit quicker.

The harris family has money so that wont be a concern, if hes ready to go after one year he will go. He is not going to be the kid who leaves before he is ready to get a quick pay day.

MORONIC POST AT BEST.

Tyler will be at worst low first round pick and will be in the NBA for years.
stop being jealous and be a true fan

The NBA doesn't need a 6'6 wingman who can't hit a jump shot.

Pearl mentioned that Tobias was drawn to the Sports Management program. If I were a guessing person I would say that might suggest he might stick around for more than a year.

Who knows? The NBA drafts people based on potential so I think he could average 12 pts a game and still get drafted early. If Hopson keeps playing like he is he is gone. That I do know.

He's not quite a 1 and done - just like Hopson - expect him to be here 2 years. Anything more than that is probably just an added bonus (for us fans and the team of course) at that point.

Tobias is a very stout basketball player and will avereage a double double while he is here, but I don't think he leaves school after one year unless they say he is a top 2 pick which, who knows? He could be.

Baseless statement. I would be happy with 12 and 7 from him nightly. A double double though?

He will not have double digit rebounds per game next year. 7 RPG and we should be tickled.
