Harsin out?

I keep hearing whispers in other forums of Auburn's HC, Harsin fleeing back west.

Any legs to this? Give me all the rumours. Nothing fuels me like the sewer rats of the SEC coming up to deliver tasty rumor nugs.

If it does he won’t be going to Washington. They have mandatory vaccination policy for state employees. Basically cost Washington State coach his job.

Harsin is not vaccinated.

Washington State already had to fire their coach because he was not vaccinated.

Either Harsin has indicated he will get vaccinated or Washington would have to fire him immediately.

Gus was a strange one but at least had ties to the south and a novel offensive scheme that worked if he got the right players...that said they kept him too long imo and were punished for dumb contract having to pay him 21 million buyout

Chase talked about the culture difference between USC...the SEC...and specifically Tennessee...said it was his dream, even as a SoCal kid, to play in the SEC....said its night and day...the Vol walk..people recognize him, even as a kicker out in the city...I know its LA but still you would think there would be more diehards...they only care when teams are winning....see Raiders and Lakers for comparison

I don’t know if that is accurate. I might be wrong, but it is my understanding that he has refused to comment on his vaccination status. This has been interpreted to mean that he is protecting one or more of his assistants. There obviously would not be real speculated interest if he were actually in fact not vaccinated.

Concern. They don't have an on-hand replacement. They are concerned that Coach Harsin will leave and that his payout will be happily accepted wherever he might go.

I heard he prefers the West Coast, that’s all I’ve heard. I wouldn’t wanna live in Cali vs Alabama due to the taxes, you’d need a huge raise to offset those losses
