Hart completely incompetent?

Is Hart completely incompetent? Either Gurden is in the bag or someone else is hired or He is over his head and needs to be fired. He should have been looking for a head coach since the 2011 KY game!!! He has had over a year to compile a list and should have already interviewed by now!!!

He had to get the money and academics. Issues fixed first because candidates were going to want answers. I don't understand why that is confusing for some.

Or maybe he was honest in the press conference and did not make a decision to fire Dooley until after we got beat by Vandy. Maybe he had a short list of coaches he wanted and Stoops, Fisher, and Gruden has turned us down. Maybe the head coach is already hired and has an agreement with Hart to not announce it until a certain date for other reasons. Until a coach is hired, noone has any idea what Hart can and can't do. The only thing "incompetent" in all this is fans thinking Hart needs to do it/make a hire on their time.

Have no idea how you can want to fire him, or at the same time give him an extension.
if this is supposedly the most important hire in the history of our program i sure as hell want him taking his time

Sorry but your wrong and stupid. Some people like to make sure they leave a job in a good way. I would imagine that if its a college coach it will be announced after that teams final regular season game to be fair to THEIR team. I would not want them todo it any other way, because I would wan tthe same respect for MY team.

If it goes past Mid December that is actually better for those tards wanting Gruden. He will play out the string to get as much leverage as he can.

I disagree that this is the most important hire in UT's history. It took Bama 3 tries to get Saban.

I agree on all points.

I just hope it didn't actually take him until the Vandy game to make the decision.

I felt it was probably over by KY last season but also felt he deserved one more year due to injuries. Once the MS ST game was finished, I was completely done however.

Hard to judge a guy on something he hasn't done yet.

lol I'm starting to see that. People are crazy over this Gruden stuff. I can't wait until Hart hires someone so all this Gruden mess can stop and all the "Gruden or no one else" people can step back from the ledge.

Agree 100%! Anyone is an upgrade over Dooley so we'll be fine. Gruden could right the ship in less time than people because of his rockstar status but it didn't sink overnight so I have no issue in getting a solid coach that builds us back up, even if it takes a bit.

What are these freakin' academic issues that Hart talked about? I've been following UT for many years and have never once heard of academic issues.

I think it is part of the reason Eddrick Lofton was denied admission. He did everything he was supposed to do, or so everyone thought. Then the last minute "admissions" denied him and he never played a down here after a long fight to get in.
