Mastermind? Really? Maybe the revolving door, and buyouts, and lack of in-state recruiting, and insane fanbase, and a million other actual reasons why nobody.....and i mean nobody wants this job. Was harts fault we hired dooley too i guess. Why didnt anybody want it then? I know.....it was saban. No wait....we were waiting on gruden. No, that was this time, or was it last time. We look like a monkey f***ing a football right now and whoever we hire is gonna be a disappointment.

Im not impressed with hart either but i guaran-damn-tee you he's not as big a dumba** as most of the people posting on this forum. Imagine doing the call-in show and talking to these geniuses for hours.

Gruden wanted it. Hart didn't want Gruden. So it is what it is now.

When Dooley proved woefully inept, Hart was forced to fire him without a "short list" of candidates to replace him. At the same time the boosters and fans came to the correct conclusion that another Saban assistant wasn't going to cut it. That left Hart scrambling.

So would u say all the behind the scene Gruden crap was just a farce? One that engulfed the program and brought to it's knees and pretty much guranteed Dooley's failure.

I blame hart for not coming out and squashing them when they started. Even if there were behind the scene stuff going on. Kind of like what USCs ad did with kif. ATM that's the only real blame that could be put on him cause no one knows what is really going on now. I'm sure the short list u want is full of no's that want nothing to do with this mess. Get over the "we r UT so we get whomever we want" mentality. Once able to get past that the situation can get better.

If you blame hart then you need to blame the big booster/manning committee that has said to be heavily involved in all this. Even with more say than hart.

Just IMHO that's all...

Nooooooo. I want hart to come out and support the current coach of the team. Do whatever he wanted in the background with the Gruden stuff and go from there. Now look at us....Gruden talk engulfed the program and brought to its knees and we didn't even get Gruden. Happy now bud???

I havent heard hart say he preferred anyone at all. But im sure you have an inside source that told you he wanted someone like kirby smart im sure. I know im in hell when bama and gator fans actually want our program to succeed because they are embarrassed for us. Prob from trolling around here and reading this absurd s**t.

Do you even know what you're responding to? I'm saying it would have been stupid to come out and publicly back Dooley when Hart and everyone else could see that Dooley was a terrible coach.
