In his presser the day Dooley was fired, he gave CDD great credit for cleaning up a lot of things around here.

Do you suppose we still have a lot wrong with us -- that a great HC couldn't correct, and what could it be?

As Danny Sheridan said this week, Tennessee is one of the 'Crown Jewels" of the SEC. And he's an Alabama grad.

Could Fulmer and Hamilton have built an insoluble trend at UT that even a great HC won't tackle?

It's not Fulmer. It says a lot about the program when Hart has to drag Cheek around to calm the fears that Fulmer and others have said is a big issue.

It's hard to imagine that Alabama wasn't in worse condition, morale wise, the year Shula was let go. They'd been mismanaged a lot longer than we have.

Fire Hart and keep Chaney until we find a suitable replacement!! We cannot do worse than this season!

I'm afraid that Hart may be selling the program with the problems we have, not the good things at UT. Cheek has the same attitude. It's hard to sell a used car when you dwell on the issues it has instead of the good miles it has left in it.

Look in your rear view mirror for my response to what you have on the back.

I think are biggest problem is thinking only inside of harts box. This search is one helluva mess. We just keep goin down this list and hoping that one of these guys who don't even care about it and expecting them to just pack up and leave a successful job to a place that is bottom dwelling and can't get the monkey off their back. I mean if chip Kelly wouldn't of got a shot at Oregon then hed probably still be a oc somewhere. Same for Tim deruter of Fresno state. Was d coor. At T.a.m and First year as a head coach has an all American on defense and turned an underachieving Fresno state into champions in one year. I mean he was a good d coor. At a and m but nobody expected this turnaround. Now please somebody call Chavis and let's get this train rolling. I just want to get some alumni in this coaching staff and get the ball Rollin again. We don't need a Florida guy comin in here or a west coast show from oklahoma. And to be honest fedora has only had1 year of double digit wins since being a head coach. At so miss.7-5,7-5,8-4,11-2, n carolina8-4 with a pretty solid team in a weak conference. I mean I honestly think he could win here but I'd say the risk reward is higher with Chavis. Better coordinator defensively then fedora was offensively so it just seems like we should go a different way

Hart is going after the WRONG people...Gundy and Strong only interviewed so they would get that big raise and look like hero's to their respected fan bases...FACT...He has 3 top coaches looking him square in the face and he just won't take the step to go after them...Not sure WHY but he's not...You got Jim Tressel, you got Butch Davis and as a last resort you got Petrino...WTF isn't he going after any of those??...They are proven winning coaches and everyone of them are capable of turning a program around quickly....He's going to keep going after these coaches who are going to use him for that big raise...Hire ANY of the big 3 I just mentioned and we'll be on our way back in no time.

IMO the guys with all the money on Rocky Top who call the shots behind the scene is PROBLEM #1. They got their heads so far up their asses they don't have a clue what's going on, all they know is "we're UT, we're UT" now look where that mind state has gotten us. We are F'n joke to the SEC & college football as a whole. Strong was the man for the job he exhibited every characteristic that Hart said he & this university where looking for in a HEAD COACH. Instead we put this guy on hold for nearly a week to flirt with Mike "BIG 12" Gundy.... seriously, the only way this guy would've survived in the SEC is if Charlie Strong himself was coming along as the D coordinator.

Hart either has a guy on the hook or he is the most incompetent son of a ***** on the planet. It is 50-50 at this point, from an outside perspective.

What do you expect him to say. The day of his presser, he was popular and was getting rid of Dooley. Now, that he looks like a genuine dumbazz, we all of a sudden have a lot of problems. He is right, we had too many Alabama idiots here! He has botched this terribly and shown what a real fool he actually is.

I think Petrino somebody has to give him a call that is not as far fetched as it might seem. Everyone has baggage who knows maybe we do isn't that right Hart?
