Hate we are playing in Nashville

There will be plenty of security in downtown all day Saturday. We enjoyed being downtown for the Music City Bowl. Why anyone would want to be there late at night is beyond me.

Talking about after midnight, usually when you hear about drunks. Walking across the John S pedestrian bridge before/after game is beautiful.

What's the best site to get tickets on that isn't resale? Also anyone know which sideline UT will be on? Titans or visitors?

I hate it to. 30 minutes away couldn't pay me enough to go downtown Nashville anymore especially night time. The ELEMENT does roam the streets .
Sad situation isn't it? What used to be a great trip is now something you avoid.

We had no choice for a home game. This game is in lieu of the BYU away game so it was never going to be in Neyland. UVA would not agree for a one-off in Knoxville so the next best thing is Neyland West in Nashville. Personally, I am looking forward to winning a damn game in Nashville. The stadium is just fine and the concessions are better than Neyland. It also allows the Vols to spend some quality time in front ot Middle Tennessee prospects.
This.

More to the point I think neutral site games should happen but should be played fairly close proximity to Knoxville. Bristol for example was one. Gives us more recruiting exposure in our region. Jmo though.

It was originally a road game at BYU, which frankly we should’ve kept. So if you’re going to play away from Knoxville, this is probably the best location. Coaches can recruit mid state prospects.

And it’s our first game since beginning of 2015. It’s not like we play here every year.

I would go, but we have a big family reunion in Ktown every Labor Day, so its not an option for me

Playing in Nashville guarantees I attend any Saturday except the first in September. Dove season takes precedence. There are a whole lot of fans from Jackson to Nashville, and it’s gotten to be a major pain (both time and financially) to attend a game in Knoxville. Hotel rates alone mean I quit staying in Knoxville years ago, and that takes a whole lot of joy out of night games.

Don’t tell people in East Tennessee. There is no world or state outside of there and they really don’t care that it makes it easier for fans in Middle and West Tennessee to attend. Many of them think UT is the University of Knoxville.

Hotel rates are insane everywhere

Not a bad place to do it if you’re going to. Easy exposure to a lot of nashville and memphis prospects/fans that wouldn’t have been thinking about us that week otherwise.

This: It's about taking your program/brand out to another part of the state/country. It gives the program a promotional boost in the area, which should help with recruiting, athletic-department donations, etc. Nashville is an important in-state market.

As for the stadium, what's wrong with it?
