Hate Week: Vanderbilt

In football, you hate on Bama and Florida first.

In baskeball, Kentucky and Candy get the most hate from a Vol fan. JMO

Memorial Gym is the biggest hoax of an arena in collegiate sports. It's a joke. Hope Cuonzo knows the drill so we avoid any unneeded technicals for coaches on the court...

Vanderbilt attendance at football stadium over past 3 years. Even with their best team in ages they still suck....

VANDERBILT

2011: 32,873
2010: 33,269
2009: 35,015

They are over 20K below the 2nd to last school (Miss St.)

As a Sewanee student who was turned down by vanderbilt for not being a minority, I ****ing hate those snotty bastards. (My county has 24% unemployment so I don't qualify for rich white suburb kid at all)

This is enough reason. From Vandymania.

I am repulsed by University of TN and everything orange. I cannot even stand to listen to the biased announcers in the game. It seems like a huge majority of women's basketball fans have more respect for the evil empire the East than I ever could. No, I will not fricking "back Pat". Sorry to hear she is aging but using her name to garner a donation from me is a waste of time. I am shocked and appauled by that tag line every time I see it.

Yes, I am bitter and politically incorrect. Nobody will convince me to be otherwise. Surely, I am not alone in this perspective but it is fine if I am.

I completely agree with you. I am stubborn in my opinion about UT and nothing will make me change it. Ever. Not even Pat Summitt getting sick. I haven't backed Pat before and highly doubt I will in the future. I applaud you for sharing your honest opinion in the wake of this loss.

Is it bad that i have no hate for Vandy?

Absolutely. I pitied them around 2000, and now I hate them as much as alabubba. Since Franklin arrived, I wish them the worst in everything they do, and hope they fail at everything. Whiney arrogant pricks.

pl3 spitting venom. I like it!!!

You can have your underperforming, underbite basketball coach and that ****ty arena.
You can have your Vandyfan senior discounts for your fanbase at Shoneys prior to games.
You can have your concerns over hip fractures as a few of the 70yr old fans in the stands of 30k at a football game decide to rush the field and make a dvd of a win against a
.500 team.
And you can have your ugly women. I really am not sure that I have ever met an attractive woman from Vandy. I am about 0-173.

Sewanee isn't a bad fallback plan though. Great school. And you're correct regarding the minority horsesh*t. If you're not an Indian or Asian, it appears you don't get in anymore. It's reverse discrimination at its finest. With that said, F 'em. There are plenty of other great schools out there.

As for people not knowing whether to hate them or not, as pl3 said, just live in Nashville for awhile. Or do a google search on George Cafego. He'll give you the reasons to hate them.

You'll find out they're some of the most boorish, arrogant jacka**es and for no good reason really. They haven't won a single title in anything anyone gives a damn about and they never will. They act like they're a basketball school, yet UT owns their sorry asses in every single category. Just like football.

And this here is a great example of their idiocy. Morons like this can die a miserable death for all I care. I wouldn't piss on 'em if they were on fire.

I actually agree with that Vandy poster about Summitt. This huge national campaign seems a bit ridiculous. Not saying that the cause isn't good, but c'mon, Pat Summitt is getting old, so let's make every team wear a t-shirt about it? Not a fan of the concept, but Summitt is one of the best bball coaches ever.

I agree with the guy earlier who said that Franklin ended all pity I had for Vandy. Sorry we've owned your basketball team the past six years, even though you are a "basketball school." Also, seeing your football team lose their bowl was the sweetest loss an SEC team can take. I hope Maymon, Stokes, and Skylar's mustache run them out of Memorial tomorrow night. F their magic, the benches are lame as hell.

So, the lone reason you're not at Vandy is that you're white? I'm skeptical.

She's 59 and has dementia. That's not called "getting old" stupid, it's a legitimate cause.

I guess you don't include "empathy" or "compassion" in your character description? Give me a break.
