I believe I said in the NFL. I doubt the winner of that poll (Tiger Woods) is truly that either. It's probably some soccer player.

The fact is this. I made a simple statement that is true, that PM has more star power than Brady. I stated the fact that he gets so many commercials and has draw power unlike any other in the NFL. You don't like him and started bashing. It used to be that he would never win the big game and he was only captain stats to you. Well the fact is he makes more money and has more draw than TB will EVER have. No matter how many times his defense or Randy Moss bails him out. Unlike you I don't dislike TB I just call it the way IT IS.

I doubt he really hangs with Chesney. But PM has other priorities. He is an A lister and doesn't need his picture taken with hangers on to feel better about himself. Surely you can understand that. Also he is way to busy doing commercials for BIG comapanies (you know the ones that TB and other "cool" players wish they could get) to worry about his "image".

He is rewriting the records and is in the process of changing what a QB is in the NFL. And he is not done with his rings either.

You really should use your connections to get to know the man that has a degree from the same place as you before hating on him. I think you would be surprised.

Beef, don't make me go pull out the old thread. You claimed Manning was the most popular athlete in America. When confronted with evidence that was not the case, jersey sales et al, you scoffed. ESPN essentially ran a series that called your bluff. Tiger Woods, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Shaq, and Tom Brady all polled better than the Patron Saint of the Stat Sheet Obsessed.

If Brady does ads for Stetson what about Jeter doing ads for Avon. How many men buy their cologne at Avon? Stetson is OTC. I will say Brady and Favre sport the five oclock shadow well and Manning I couldn't picture him with the look.

I figure Manning hangs out with other players, aren't he and Harrison close friends? I like Manning he's a hard worker and he's just a low key guy. I never realized you didn't like Manning.
