Have we ever signed so few recruits on NSD?

I don't care what anyone says,today has been alarming. I didn't expect Pruitt to sign everyone but he's missed a lot. Kinda concerning.

You do realize we went 4-8 last season and UT has been irrelevant for nearly all of these recruits life? Not to mention, we have signed some "great" classes in the past that produced little to no results so I will reserve judgement on the signing day national championships that UT loves to celebrate.

People forget what position we're in right now. Pruitt didn't have much time to convince anyone to come here, he did good with what we got. Not alarming at all. If the next class isn't much better that will be concerning. If you expected anything special this class that's just unrealistic considering how little time he had.

They will probably hold a few back for post NSD signees. It is what it is. Have to rely on Pruitt and staff to coach em up! GBO!!

Because the people that are hired aren't getting it done...and not just coaches. We have facilities, revenue, tradition, and in state recruits. Excuses are getting real old.

Very true but today's results won't help us do much better than 4-8. I also highly doubt that since we signed great classes before and had bad results that signing an underwhelming class will lead to an SEC East championship. This isn't a knock on Pruitt I just think UT football is too far gone for him to save.

You do realize the first class Butch signed after Dooley left? At the time everyone thought it was great considering the time he had to recruit. Butch, so far, has proven to be the better recruiter. We'll see next year I guess.

Too far gone to save? Man you sure give up easily. Lot's of schools have been down for over a decade and come back.

We don't need anymore "great" classes on paper that produced next to nothing. Not to mention you are comparing rankings not actual results for their first classes:
Pruit: 8 4* or higher; average 3.32
Jones: 5 4* or higher; average 3.18
Dooley: 13 4* higher; average 3.37 (of the 13 4* or higher that originally signed with UT, 5 either did not qualify or transferred out after one season)

Nsd isn't shocking to me,I'm more concerned with why we let so many of our recent recruits go elsewhere.Either the staff got played bad by unsigned guys they thought they were getting or sumthing.Id say this is a ruff situation for everyone from coaches,fans etc.With the mess Pruitt inherited followed by the disastrous season this was expected.

I figured we'd finish 15-20 range.Missing out on Walker was the biggest disappointment so far.Young going to FSU sucks too.Tillman and Norwood are kinda head scratchers as Pruitt said himself he wasn't gonna take guys just to fill slots.Hopefully Tillman, Norwood, Flowers and Mincey will turn out to be underrated. We'll know next year recruiting wise what Pruitt can do.He walked into a pretty tough situation 2 weeks before the ESD.If he and this staff can develop players and coach X and O's like I think he can we'll be alright.

Off the top of my head, I can't recall any. In order for UT to win we need to have either superior coaching or superior talent. One is still a question mark the other is answered. With Bama and UGA on our schedule every year and today's result there isn't a light at the end of the tunnel. Still a fan and love orange but it is just what it is. This class will set us back another year. I hope he can turn it around though, that would be awesome.

And we couldn’t afford to miss like we did at corner. Very concerning class. I think the next two years will be long
