Have you ever seen anything like this?

You do realize Martin is not the answer at UT. And not just the fans see this.

You realize that despite what you mistaken as calling him the answer, I am of the belief that he should make the dance or be let go this year. But, that won't stop me from arguing with armcouch coaches who think they know more than Martin from pissing on his grave.

I'm confused, are some of these posters dismissing 0-11 fgs, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 fouls, and only 2 points from the starting point guard and bench players? That seems like a much bigger problem than the moron's original post in this thread.

Im confused. Do you think someone will agree with you if you post this same argument in multiple threads? It just doesnt work. Its on the head coach. Period. Including the bench play

don't that make you a armcouch coach ? you are arguing with people who you claim that don't know anything and you are saying you do. Where is the evidence that Martin knows what he is doing ?

I'm not one saying "Martin is an idiot for calling that time out", so no i'm not trying to coach this team from my couch and acting like I know more than he does. That drawn up play at the end of regulation helps.

So, you expect Martin to make those missed layups and shots for his players because he's completely allowed to do that.

It's as if Divine Intervention was trying it's best for us to win the game but Martin still figures out how to lose a close game. If I was Barton, I am giving Martin the silent treatment for a while. Poor guy has been in the slumps for the second half of the season and he finally nails a game winning 3 that he would have remembered forever if it were not for one incredibly unorganized and dysfunctional coach.

Yeah, looks just like year 3 under Dooley. Their tenures have been eerily similar as far as underachieving. First came 3 pitiful years with Doofus in football followed by 3 years of Bozo in basketball lol.

Any credibility you might have once had just flew out the window so follow BTO and just say ciao on your way out the door.

That's a once in a season type play. Obviously A&M screwed up to allow it to work. Come on. Give credit where credit is due. Martin got lucky. And who says that was the option. It may have been an on the court adjustment. We will never know. Fact is. They lost. Martin is done. Bruce Pearl isn't coming back. I suggest watching the little guys play. Anyone that gets hot. That's the coach UT goes after. Unfortunately for the fans. It want be a big fish hire this time either.

I'm not going anywhere. I've got nothing to hide, I don't change my screen name, I don't come on here to bash coaches and nothing else, etc. If Martin gets fired, I won't lose sleep. If I was the AD, I'd probably fire him if he didn't make the Dance. But the fact is, I'm not. I don't make those decisions. I watch and support. That's it. I support every coach, some less than others, but will never wish them to lose like many on here, nor call them names to justify my pathetic life like several on here. Do you give to charity/cancer research? You complain this much that a cure hasn't been found and that you "deserve a cure" because of all the money you give? That's what you all sound like on here. Plain as that.

Did Martin even react to the steal and dunk where Richardson was killed? Where it was a foul or not Martin should a of been halfway to the goal yelling he was fouled!

Congrats for being clueless...A timeout is the right thing to do in that scenario. Maybe Martin should give Barton the silent treatment for going mia for several games.

Wrong. The timeout should have been called when we got the ball to mid court, not with 2 seconds left. Cuonzo is clueless when to use his timeouts. Well, he's actually clueless overall while sitting on the bench. What a train wreck.

Clueless? That describes your defense of Martin.

A timeout with ten seconds is the right thing to do, draw up a play, make it work. Instead you watch the team flounder for 7 seconds and then take a timeout with 3 seconds?!?! Not sure that is the right thing to do.

Did anyone notice the clock when we inbounded the ball to Stokes at the end of regulation. The clock started counting down the very instant it left Richardson's hand. It had no impact on the game, but it sure could have.

the only thing that had an impact on the game was Martin being the coach and Stokes missed FT.

The only time ive ever seen him argue with a ref was in the Mizz game when the clocked stopped running late in the game and he should have been drawing up a play since he had no timeouts left.

The team needs a players only meeting & agree not to pay attention to any of their coaches for the rest of the season, just go out & play hard with heart & focus! They couldn't do any worse than they have with this clown college staff!

the issue isn't that play...the issue is that we shouldn't have been in that situation inthe first place and we should have beaten this way-under-manned TAM team both times this year by atleast 10 points both games.

I don't think I would use cancer as a comparison to our current basketball situation.... but since you did I would say that Martin is the cancer that needs to be cut out, radiated or eradicated to prevent the whole program from dying.
