You could tell he still wasn’t 100% only due to his facial expressions and grimaces on the sidelines. His gameplay was great and a very gritty performance.

Glad we have an extra week off…hopefully he can get back to 100 percent without pain before our next game.

Agreed, he looked exhausted but he manhandled his opponent every snap he played. It was very impressive considering how much he’s missed. It was a different/better OL with him out there

Having the open date is just right. Gives us some time to heal the overall bumps and bruises and gives Mays some extra recovery time. He played well tonight. The line in general played well overall. GBO

I really did think May's coming back would make a huge difference, and it did. Having Ollie Lane back at his normal spot helps, plus Mincey at RT was a big plus as well. It's essentially a whole new offensive line, and they played really well.

Huge difference with Coop back. I remember hearing Peyton talking about how important Jeff Saturday was to the Colts offense. At the time I thought that was weird. The center is the second most important position in the offense.

He does if he wants to come back. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets drafted. He’s probably a mid rounder but that still means a few million.

I don’t know if he would get drafted or not.

I have thought that the real reason Milton looked so lost in the swamp was because Mays wasn’t there. Cooper is the leader and importantly gives Milton time to make plays. Otherwise, Joe can’t process at speed in a hostile environment.

With Mays there, Milton can focus.

Watching Cooper & Joe working together reminded me of Peyton Manning's days with the Indy Colts; Peyton said many times how his center, Jeff Saturday, was a vital cog in every part of that offense.

After 4 games, I thought the die was pretty much cast for team 2023 and the only change for real impact was the return of Mays and Mincey to strengthen the OL They did and what a difference!

I don't recall the source but someone on radio/TV last night stated how critical Mays is to gather the line and get them set for the next play in the fast offense. Great Leader!
