Die hard Vol fan living in Sydney, Australia, here. Will be at the Cal vs Hawaii game this weekend wearing orange from head to toe! Let me know if you see me on TV. Haha. Go Vols!

Nice! Are you Australian or an American living in Australia?

dumb post is dumb. I have missed one home game the last four years. been to a couple away games as well. I am not loaded, or retired.

Liar. I've seen you're post in the zone and night owl thread. You're loaded every weekend pretty much. Oh wait, you mean something else. Nm.

I just saw where this game doesn't kick-off until 10PM. I'll probably make it to the end of the 1st quarter.

By "traveling" I'm talking about people that don't have the luxury of making a day trip out of it. Duh.

Well I have that luxury if I so choose to make it there and back in a day but you assumed I don't. Luckiky for me I don't have to. I can drink all day and then pass out at my grandparents' after the game.

How did you become a Vols/college football fan?

I did a semester at Tennessee in 2009 and it's easier to watch college football here than NFL as its on our Sunday (not Monday). Visited neyland for the Sooners game last year for the first time since then. Heart breaking stuff. I read VolNation probably 2-3 times a day - it's addictive. Hoping for a big season! Tried to get in contact with Vic Wharton to meet up here as I saw a few players around last night. He seems too busy though! Haha.

Guys... I have an idea... what if we could take a thread over something extremely benign about other schools... and turn it into an argument

Great country, but Aussie is far better. Might as well see both if you are flying so far!

I would hope you get the Dumb and Dumber reference.

If not, you're just missing something special in your life by not watching it.

Seen it many times. Was wondering where that horrible quote came from. We don't drink fosters and its prawns (not shrimp)!

That's good, else you would have to self ban for being an uneducated Neanderthal and entirely uncouth.

The game was fun today. Good weather and lots of points. I wore my orange with pride near the half way line if anyone saw some orange on TV. Got swarmed by about 10 LSU fans shouting tiger bait. Few people said go Vols though!

Awesome. It looked beautiful. Nice stadium too. Hopefully the game will build some more interest Down Under. Go Vols.
