If you require refs screwing up calls and punt returns to win games, you're lucky.
I don't know about you, but I considered the Music City Miracle lucky. Maybe we just don't share the same opinion.
i'm not even going to begin to get into that that play was a lateral; it is much too late to start this up again
but a blowout isn't lucky; if they win by 7 or less then yeah i can understand calling luck from that (punt returns, however, are skill just as having an 80 yard rushing TD), if they won by 2 from a bobbled snap - totally get that too.
But you can't call a blowout lucky, even if there's one bad call or one single mistake. By that logic, UF got lucky in 2007 when they beat us by 39 points because - if not for that bad handoff, it's an 8 point game; or UGA's 41-14 win is lucky cause they got that fumbled snap return before halftime..
...i'm sorry but that logic doesn't work, if you end up beating a team big, it's not luck (save, i will make exception to a bad call/turnover in the last 2 min that makes it a 2 score game rather than 1 score)
note of change: if this thing ends up a 2 score loss, okay i could get your complaints. But if this ends up a 20 point or so loss, it's a beatdown, bad call or not
