For what they are paying him, if they tell him to play free safety and eat dog food the only words out of his mouth should be "Thank you." He's a fat, malingering piece of garbage. He was for 90% of his colllege career and now is in the NFL. If he wants to give Washington their signing bonus back, he can cry all he wants about their scheme. Otherwise, he should shut the Hell up and actually attempt to earn his money.I don't blame him. They bring him in then completely switch defenses.

Keep telling yourself that. The only year he was remotely a consistent force was when he knew he had free agency coming. He's a goldbrick of the highest order. Snyder is getting exactly what he deserves for giving that kind of money to a slovenly loser like Haynesworth.A piece of garbage that was or probably still is the most dominate defensive lineman in the league.

Yet, NFL GMs consistently ignore a guy's total career and focus on their performance with a paycheck in sight. Anyone who paid attention to Haynesworthless at any point in his career saw this coming.People always talk about the importance of "contract years" in baseball, but it seems to me that they have more of an impact on pro football than any other sport.

I used to be, but not anymore. It happens time and time again.I'm just amazed that when there is a 'one of these things is not like the other' year on the performance line in a contract year, teams line up to guarantee a guy who has applied himself for 20% of his career to that point tons of money and honestly believe they will get a solid effort.
