I think this would be a great combination. Dabbo has done great things at Clemson and doesnt look like slowing down. If he could have found a decent DC this year he would be in the NC talk. Yes he has Bama ties and some dont like that, but he is a good guy who is enthusiatic, has SEC roots, would run a clean program and has a history of good recruiting classes. I know it wont happen but I curious why he isnt on peoples lists especially with the ACC starting to fall apart.

Because he's a goofy bumpkin.

Was savvy enough to hire coordinators who are better than he is, and is smart enough to stay the hell out of their way. That's as much credit as I can give him.

Dabo has done a decent job at assembling talent at Clemson, but has done little to nothing to capitalize on a weak, WEAK ACC.

We all know what happened he won it last year.

He's played exactly 1 ranked team this year and lost.

He'll have one more chance against Carolina.

He's where he needs to be for now.

What the love affair with Dabo? Did y'all forget that Clemson is in the ACC and he can't go unbeaten there with elite talent, what makes you think he can do it here?

Who's unbeaten in the SEC? As Tennessee fans its hard to down another school or conference at the moment.

First of all he is a bammer. Second if you think he is running a clean program then Gruden is headed to Ark for 1 mill a yr. He helped force Bowden out and weaseled his way in. Does sound very familiar though.

I'm not sure I understand your rebuttal. I was simply stating that I don't believe he would bring the success everyone wants.
