Well, I'm watching now and the Republican members are STILL trying to defend this as not having involved a quid pro quo. This despite the testimony it clearly was, despite the overwhelming evidence that it was, and despite the shifting and self contradictory arguments from Trump.
Its just mystifying to me that the House Republicans would cling to the absurd notion there was none. Its just a ridiculous position to take.
