Heard the Bills are having workout with Bray

Playing on Sundays is playing on Sundays no matter where you are. He's a big time gamer and if does end up starting somewhere I don't see him moving back to backup anywhere. Just tough to break into the starting ranks.

What were your three favorite big time games of his?

they can't all be like that douchebag Bama QB playing from a lead in easy passing situations...he was mediocre the only game Bama was down..against Texas A&M...

McCarron led a last-minute, come from behind drive at LSU.

You know, just like the one Bray led against... oh who was it... help me out here...

I'm thinking Oakland will try to trade their early 1st to get a late 1st and a 2nd Rd pick to boot. In that scenario, I have to think they like Bray. He has the big arm to make a difference there, and is close to home.

Otherwise, Buffalo will probably take Warmack, the OG (to replace Andy Levitre, whom the Titans just picked up), and then snag Bray with their 2nd Rd pick. I don't see him getting out of the 2nd Rd. He was the best QB at the combine, and some team is going to be enamored with his arm.

I think Pittsburgh might be interested, as a good backup to Rothlesburger, as he has been injury prone and their backups suck moose dongle.

Probably Warmack unless oakland passes on smith

I presume you're still saying the raiders would take Bray with that 2nd round pick, right? I don't think he's able to work his way into day 1 without someone taking a big reach

I'm assuming this is sarcasm, right?

Actually he's not. Don't you realize that the head coach has NOTHING to do with the success of the team or the development of the players. Pimp and a few others will blame everyone except Dooley.

It's funny how so many of these Bray bashers defended Dooley until the end or are still doing so. They're also the ones yelling VFL at every opportunity. Yet just like their hero Dooley it's all lip service. Dooley may have started the VFL program but he damned sure didn't believe in it as evidenced by how he treated former players. These fans who yell VFL and then Bash Bray or other players fit the same mold as their hero Dooley. Very pathetic

This Saturday...anyone else heard? Apparently they really like him.

I was afraid of that!!! If Bray ends up there, then he will set up to fail..

He will play early and not really be prepared to play, which is a recipe for something bad to happen. The best situation for him is to go to San Diego or Pittsburgh or Dallas and sit the bench for about 4 or 5 seasons before competing for the starting job.

However; I am not so sure that Buffalo is serious about Bray. If you will remember, Marty S., was the head coach of Kansas City and he said that they really liked Casey Clausen. Then Clausen went un drafted!!! NFL teams are full of smoke screens when it comes to gauging their interest in prospects.

In b4 you get roasted for the big time gamer comment

Yeah...he's a big time gamer until things get tight or his team is down and needs a true leader to "lead" a come back! Sorry...I wanted him to be an all "everything". Physically he's got it...when it comes to the intangibles???? Maybe maturity, time away from Dooley, and proper guidance will bring out his potetial. I still wish him the very best though.

Pittsburgh is definately interested in getting a q.b. in the late rounds. Pittsburgh has mentioned the q.b. from Duke, but not mentioned Bray. I would guess that Pittsburgh would select Bray before they would select the q.b. from Duke....

So, yes, Bray has a good chance of landing in Pittsburgh.

Why does Brey get so much love from Vols fans now? He led UT to 3 straight losing seasons. He left after his junior year with the rest of the top notch talent. He had A bad attitude the entire time he was there!

So, terrible coaching, historically bad defense, greatest offense ever... all excuse parades and Bray's fault?

Man there really are a ton of idiots that are vol fans.

You said all of the above, not me. And yes, there are plenty of idiots that are Vol fans.

And your original post was a parade of excuses as to why Bray under performed in most of the league games. Our defense was bad but we were not blown out in the first half of any game. We could have scored to keep pace and even win some of those games. But that never happened. The main culprit was sloppy inefficient qb play (and dropped passes). That "greatest offense ever" stuff is a joke too. Most of those numbers were against Akron & Georgia St. Not Florida & Bama.

That would have to mean bray was still there for them to take in the later rounds

Dear baby Jesus ....please not my bills! Bray has a big arm but he makes stupid throws under pressure. In Buffalo he will be under pressure a lot.

I seriously don't like all of our so called fans who love to bash our players...with a defense and staff like what Casey Clausen and Manning had during his time here Bray would be talked about being one of the best UT QBs ever...

And he ripped apart UGA and a great South Carolina defense this year.....too bad he had to score 50 plus every game just to be tied up...

How many college QB's that came out after three years went on to be successful in the NFL? It's a very very short list. Those two or three that did make it were Heisman finalist.

He has the cannon. The question is whether he has the cranium? I understand that terrible coaching and bad defense are not his fault. However, coming apart under pressure like a cheap suit and immature antics off the field certainly don't bode well at the next level. I hope he makes it but I'm not betting the ranch on his success.
