It appears that the Vols win over Florida last night messed up the agenda of some people on this board. We are 5-1, ranked in the top 10, won last 2 out of 3 against Florida, but wait, we aren’t, ugh…….we should have ugh, …..we can’t ugh…. We WON!
This is a true fan here. Everyone should aspire to have this level of strawman and hyperbole.

We earned that win over Florida. I don't know where these amateur pundits came up with TN being national title favorites, but we started the season at 15th and midway through the year, we’re 10th.

I have read some comments from people who said they feel sick and want to hurl while watching TN. I recommend they stop fighting the urge. Time to cleanse yourselves of the Cool Aid. We’re right where we should be and the Vols are not going to magically become unstoppable from one week to the next.

Another fine example of our fan base. Name calling when you have nothing to add to the discussion is high on the list of admirable traits and True Fandom. Keep true fanning!
go burn some mattresses to match your lightbulbs

What "agenda" is this you speak of?

I’ve decided it’s better for people to vent their anger, frustration, disappointment on a computer forum than to take it out in your face to family or other folks.

More than one thing can be true at the same time. A true fan can be happy that their team won a game, especially against a rival. At the same time it can be true that the same fan is concerned about how their team looked in that win and the games before it and be nervous about the upcoming games if the team doesn’t figure some things out.

I agree.

The time to hurl was Dooley, Jones and Pruit.

We are consistently winning games now in the toughest conference in the country. And against teams that have owned us. It’s funny that winning is now not enough…that the team must make it look pretty in every game.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I like winning…and I’ll take a hard fought win over a pretty loss any day.

There's just some disappointment w looking like true title contenders to this struggling and seemingly "not as good as we thought" team. Especially disappointment w Nico. He looked like a Heisman candidate for 4 games and now we're comparing him to the worst Vol qb's over the last 30 years. It's just disappointing we aren't as good as we thought. I love beating Florida under any circumstances...so don't get me wrong....but the fact we had to survive that game rather than dominate..along w Arky loss has many concerned and disappointed we aren't the dominant team we hoped we were.

I think most of us would have been cool with 5-1 heading into Bama week. I think the negativity is a result of the massive and, (and some might say unfair)expectations on this quarterback.

Agree, but in the eyes of the always sunshine pumpers this makes you a negavol. Pointing out obvious FB related issues is a no no to this bunch.
