Heimerdinger out as Titans Offensive Coordinator

Saying Heimerdinger is the best option is insane...I don't know if anybody watched the Titans this year but their offense was very very predictable.....

It was time for Dinger to go....Munchak made a good call here...

who is a better option that the titans can get?

Say a name of someone who the Titans realistically could hire and is a better option than Heimerdinger and why. You sound like a Female titans fan watching them lose and say, "we need to fire fisher". People, don't say anything if you can't justify it

If Dinger is the best option we had, then we were pretty much screwed....Our offense was beyond horrible...like vka said earlier its not like we went 3 straight games without scoring a touchdown...

There's plenty of justification for firing both Fisher and Heimerdinger. Hell, Brad Childress would be a better OC than Heimerdinger was.

And you sound like one of those guys that says "Fisher is one of the best coaches in the NFL and would have another job in 5 seconds" without anything to back it up. You were probably a Fulmer fan too, amirite?

I just dont get this.. this really uuuurks me to the core and it is why i HATE the NFL. fan loyalty is crap.

you are from marryville tennessee. not green bay wisconson...

and that goes for the rest us ya...

this is not DALLAS.....THIS ISINT PITTSBURGH.......this isint boston or new york or ATLANTA.....

this is tennessee... have a sack and look in the mirror and have a little loyalty...

Uhhhhhhh........

I've been a Packers fan since Reggie White went there in 93 (and to be honest before then I didn't follow the NFL that much as a kid). Sorry the East Oakland Oilers were still in Houston blowing 32 point playoff leads at the time.

I'm not going to follow some second-rate franchise with a senile owner who is only here because the city of Houston wouldn't build him a new stadium.

Does anyone think it had anything to do with the working relationship with munchak?

I mean one week you're his boss, the next he's yours. It's gotta put a strain on things.

I think you can be a fan of whomever you please, especially if you grew up before there was a team in Tennessee.

But how does that work? You didn't give a damn about Reggie White during his incredible career as an Eagle, and then coincidentally became a fan when he moved to one of the greatest franchises in NFL history? You didn't watch him play at Tennessee at all, and yet he was your favorite player so much so that his team became your team? But not even during the best part of his career...only when he went to a team that had already won multiple Super Bowls?

I just think it's funny how these fans act like they're so much better than us, even people like me who grew up with the Titans, when any one of us could take the easy way out and come up with some BS excuse to jump on the Packers/Steelers/Cowboys bandwagon like they did. It's apparently the cool thing to do.

I was 13 years old when he went to the Packers. I've loved Reggie White since I was old enough to follow football. It only blossomed when I started playing D-end in middle school, consequently about the time he went to the Packers.

I liked the Eagles while he was there (because of him...and Randall Cunningham on Madden 92) but I wasn't a die-hard NFL fan by any stretch. When he went to Green Bay all I knew was that they won a lot back in the day and during my lifetime were average at best. I started following them because of White, liked the team, then learned about Lombardi, learned about the tradition and history of the team, and became a big fan.
