I stated this in another thread but felt to start one here for discussion....so far this season I have a for sure top 3 in no particular order

Manziel- Texas A&M
Mariotta- Oregon
Winston- Florida State

and behind those three I have
Petty- Baylor
Boyd- Clemson
Bridgewater-Louisville

Who all do you have??

If Oregon beats Stanford, Mariota wins it. They won't give it to Manziel twice, IMO.

I think you probably nailed the top 6.

I don't think any of these guys will be considered, but they're having some incredible seasons statistically:

Brandin Cooks
Sean Mannion
Bishop Sankey
Melvin Gordon

Depending on how Baylor will finish depends on how many votes Petty & Manziel will split in the Midwest region...I think Manziel has the south region

2 of your top 6 were committed to us.... that makes me sick.

No....Boyd or Petty would have given us 7-8 win seasons perhaps, but at the expense of sparing Dooley's job.

It all happened for a reason. Just keep repeating that to yourself and you'll feel better.

No Marcus Mariota? Imo, this is the best qb in the country. This kid is crazy good and should atleast get a mention.

I think Mariota wins it. Just think, he is putting up these stats after only playing in one complete game.

I don't know if Mariota is the best player in the country, but he certainly has been the most productive while playing a respectable schedule.

He did some things in the Washington game that made me think he's the real deal. Not just the guy doing the reads, handing off to the right guy, going through the progressions and hitting the right receiver. I saw a fire in him to will the win and carry the team on a few occasions. That, as a Duck, was nice to see.

Who the hell cares. Heisman means zip, zero, zilch, goose egg. It has lost all credibility. It's a popularity contest and time filler for talking heads. It has NOTHING to do with football. Voters don't even know what they are voting for anymore.

Well who do you think should win it if you were the one deciding?

It's Winston's to lose imo.

He has garnered the attention needed.

I think he still needs a win over Clemson while he has a good game to put him in the front.

Hard for me to find a favorite at this point. You could pick out 5 or so and not go wrong.
