you misunderstand my question. Im not talking about in reference to a chance to play for the championship. Im talking about when a UF fan says, "We kicked your butt." Several Tennessee fans on here have responded with, "Well, what did LSU or UGA do to you?" See, I hate that mentality.

Not surprising though that we somehow found a way to diminish a possible conference championship after years of wanting one.

this is further proof to me that on a message board people's beliefs about what they think you're going to say color what you actually write. If we win a SECC, it will in no way shape or form be diminshed by how we got there. Once again, all that I am saying is that I am upset that we were blown out by Bama and UF. It kills me that our fans have to respond to a gator taunt with what another team did to them. We cant even talk about what we did to them last year because they beat us and won a National Championship. That's all Im saying. I hate Florida and the fact that they beat us badly is not dimished by the fact that UF went on to lose to LSU, Auburn, & UGA.

The Heisman convo is about one player, not about a team anyway. My thoughts for the Heisman always have to stray from any hatred for the team as a whole. This conversation got a bit off track.

I'm not going to disagree with that. You'd rather make it to the championship game by beating everyone straight up instead of needing help... but in a season like this in the SEC, and all of college football for that matter, I don't think you'll find a team out there that won't take (or hasn't already received) help from another team.

Let's face it. The Heismen has turned out to be a BS award. Who cares.

Agreed.... that happened when PM was denied the award primarily because he had never beaten Florida as a starting QB.

Applying the same logic to Tebow, he has NEVER beaten Georgia, Auburn, or LSU. How could he possibly win?

The other annoying part about Tebow is how they run up his stats.

I like Dorsey. He's the best player on the best team.
