It will go to Lamar Jackson in a landslide, and I have no problem with that.

If there is an SEC player that should get an invite to New York, it's Jonathan Allen. He's the most outstanding player on the best team.

I still think it's going to be Jackson. There really isn't another standout candidate. If not him, probably Watson. I'm now convinced that Allen should at least get an invite to NYC, but he probably won't.

It was a great win for the Cats, and a really solid season. Congrats.

I'd pick Jake Browning (40tds-7ints-72%) of Washington or Jalen Hurts over Lamar Jackson right now.

Worst Heisman year in a long long time. Jackson had a firm grip on it but pooped the bed the last few weeks. Peppers did nothing to help his cause. Fournette hurt too much. Watson has not been a difference maker. Westbrook just doesn't get enough touches or airtime to impact things.

My money is on Jackson only because there is no clear cut #1 in probably the worst Heisman year in 20+ years. At least in past years when it was blah there was a big RB with 2K or so yards that made it somewhat palatable. But not this year. This year is a complete disaster.

Which is why I think they should give it to a defensive guy. There is always talk about defensive guys every few years, but they never win (with one notable exception).
