Heisman?

i'm no tebow lover, but i read where his name was left off 159 ballots. i understand there are three names each voter is supposed to list, in order of preference. i also understand that if tebow had been listed third on those ballots, he would have won. i believe this is similar to what happened to peyton manning. is there anyone who knows the first thing about college football who would argue with a straight face that tebow is not one of the three best players in america or that charles woodson was more deserving than peyton? there is one word for this: shabby. as far as i am concerned the whole heisman charade is one big crock.

Tebow being invited showed he was considered one of the three best. Tebow didn't deserve to win this year but he is the MVP of his team. The real travesty was in Graham Harrell not even being invited. The person who should have won this year did win.

If he produces SEC and National Champs then i think you will have to have heisman type winners. just saying
I could care less also but great things come from great things

I would rather have a SEC & National championship. The heck with the heisman, it is an individual award. I would rather see the team win.

With the new ESPN / SEC contract -- i think it's very likely we'll see Heisman winners galore from our conference.

I think people are underestimating how much of an impact this new television contract is going to have on our conference -- in terms of exposure and money.

We're officially in bed with the bad guys. It'll be good for TN football in my opinion.

:shhh:

I agree they way they screwed Peyton out of it!

Woodson..... WTF you'll never see another defensive player get it.

Peyton and UT got screwed big time on that one!
