:D

I moved here from TN back in 2020, right when the pandemic hit. Jobs in my field are somewhat limited...

Everyone at work has been talking smack for the last week and I am sure it is about to get amplified this week.

Go Vols and wish me luck down here in the heart of Gamecocks country.
Bless You. I know how it is, living in Birmingham,AL!

I spent three years in Columbia and know full well what you’re dealing with. Good luck!

They are the most delusional fans.

At least Vols fans have BVS and even if its exaggerated it is somewhat similar to reality. These fans actually think they have a good football program.

Hopefully the Vols give them a taste of reality this weekend!

Been on the waters in SC for years now. Tennessee has to beat USC. They absolutely must. I don't want another year of Gamecock fans in Clemson country telling me "HoW'd Ya LiKe BeAmEr BaLl"

Live in Greer, just outside Greenville, SC....and those Clemson Tigers have been oddly quiet as of late lol GBO
My supervisor is a Clemson season ticket holder. UT Lady Vols softball are his daughter's top pick right now, so I am pushing him to switch his allegiance to UT. :D

Been to Columbia, boring as snot.
Knoxville much better.
Vols by fiddy
The only good thing about living here is it isn't too far from the Beach. Lake Murray is ok, but it isn't the same as the lakes in TN, that's for sure.

The hills of Tennessee are beautiful. East Tennessee that is. Never been to a beach in SCar.

I lived in Columbia for six years, now in Charleston for a long time. Is that town still as big of a crap-hole as it used to be? If you get a chance to transfer, Charleston is much nicer.

I want to go to Charleston for the History.
Do you see a lot of it there?

It's like anywhere else--it becomes a part of the background. It's a great place to visit for history, though. They've preserved a large part of the downtown area so it maintains the past well. Lots of historical sites for visitors, plus carriage rides, harbor tours, Fort Sumter, plantations, and some world class restaurants. Some of the churches downtown are literally from pre-revolutionary war days. Definitely a great vacay spot, but if you're looking for beaches, we've got some, but they are absolutely packed. Only two hours up the coast to Myrtle Beach tho.

Yes, and it is glorious.
I cannot overstate the magnitude of the Orange Bowl win for Vol fans who live in Upstate SC
