i like that idea too.
i'd say me, tid, you, downdirty, and sixsynse could come up with solid groupings.
Overall a good listing, my questions are Jeff Burton in A and Allmendinger in C with Kesolowski in B.
This better than limiting the number of times a driver can be picked. I also like some kind of a chase competition.Honestly, I would leave it at one mulligan or two at the very most.
Another fun game would be to place drivers in a group A, group B, and group C like the guys on Speed channel do and everyone must pick drivers from each group, say 2 from group A, 2 from B and 1 group C driver.
Group A would be elite drivers, Group B would be next level guys and Group C would be guys that run every lap but don't have much success.
That list could change as the year goes on if a driver is doing well and needs to move into a higher group or move down for struggling.
Here is my grouping of drivers...

i would limit group A to just the chase drivers.
group b would be the rest of the top 25.
group C would cover everybody else, be it the Saids or Elliotts or Conways.
Honestly, I would leave it at one mulligan or two at the very most.

How about having 1 race a season (administrators choice) instead of picking the top 5...pick the 10th-15th places instead?
How about having a race where at race time you annouce for this race only points are doubled or tripled?
How about having races instead of pole winners have the bonus be what driver is leading the race at lap 73 or 138?
Why not have our own "chase for the championship"? Have a regular season winner and then let the top 15 battle it out the final 10 races. Maybe have bonus points for wins and then drop off in 10 pt increments at the start of the chase.
I know speaking for myself, once it became clear I couldn't win, it was trying to at least make the top 5, then top10 that kept my interest going. I believe it is similar for most others, and this would remove the reason for all but the top 15 to continue.
I can have a Chase contest like before. I didn't this past year because so few entered it the previous year, I assumed no one else was interested.
1. I think picking something other than top 5 could be interesting.
2. Not as hot on this one, unless I can declare after I see how my picks are doing. JK
3. Why not do both? Leader at halfway?
