Help me mute Danielson

I know this has been asked before, but I searched and couldn't find it, so asking upfront for forgiveness..........but, please help me be able to mute damn on CBS this Saturday. I use YouTubeTV and would like to sync CBS up to the radio. Other than pausing the tv to allow radio to 'catch up' which doesn't work great and then commercials undue all of your hard work, how can I listen to a radio broadcast of the game while watching it with no time delay?
Why would you mute one of the greatest football voices to ever live?šŸ‘€šŸ˜

Can you get the CBS broadcast via antenna?

If so, I'd think the over the air (not streamed) broadcast should be timed closer to the radio over the air broadcast.

What comes around goes around. Saturday all the years of Danielson and his jabs at Tennessee and this last one about the Tennessee crowd is going to bite him in his big rear end this weekend. Be Loud and Proud Vol fans and show the country what Tennessee fans are about!!!!!! To the staff and team go out and take the fight to them the entire game. No let up full steam!!!!! Send Danielson and the Aggies out right with a Big Orange victory!!!!! GBO
Gary Danielson...my view.

Years ago, NBC had a live game broadcast without announcers. Just crowd noise. Jets vs somebody. I loved it. All the talking head hated it. It would mean their jobs. They've never tried it again.

What I did last 2 games was mute the TV and listen to the broadcast, but what I encountered was the radio was a full 30-35 seconds AHEAD of the television broadcasts so I knew what I was about to see. It was tempting to react on twitter or volnation immediately, but I don't like it when people do that so I just remained silent.

Would you want to get the audio that early? I know you might be thinking "I said in sync", but IF I had to choose between getting the audio early or late, I'd take early. Syncing is possible with a radio broadcast over the internet on a laptop, but not so much with an Iphone.

eta: I can't stand CBS in general because of how they broadcast sports and sometimes only use the radio.
I did that at a Sports Bar one time with my ear buds in and bet on hit or miss FGs for Beers, its easy when you have the 30 second time warp advantage šŸ¤£ win every time..

I always mute the TV sound, largely because of those useless sideline boobs, but also because of the annoying, overly garrulous announcers.
I let my eyes do the listening.

Hopefully we will be able to keep the noise level in the stadium loud enough to make it hard to here him on the TV broadcast... that would be the best way to mute him.

There are streaming options (including various radio station apps) that may be on a delay that you can sync up with your video. In my experience, the SiriusXM app is horribly behind.

For CBS games I'm tempted to wait at least 5 hours and watch the recording and try not to pull up social media, volnation or the score anywhere. That way I can just fast-forward their commentary and a million commercials. Haven't been disciplined enough to try it yet.
I have tried this too. unfortunately with all the social media, google notifications, I always somehow managed to look at the wrong thing and get an update. UGH !!! I can't just turn everything off, as I have to be reachable during certain time frames

Yeah I also think I'll just be too impatient wanting to see how they're doing.

I read a article a few years back that said a study was done using stop watches etc to time the game from snap to whistle. The average football game was around 12.5 minutes of actual play.
Wow, I did not realize it was that short. I can usually watch a recorded game in about an hour. I don't normally fast-forward too much between plays, just timeouts, commercial breaks, and halftime.

with Directv. I am able to sync with the Sirius broadcast of Bob and Pat. It is about 40 seconds behind
