Hendon Hooker = Tajh Boyd

Very happy with Hendon being Hendon. Great player. Great leader. High character guy. Christian brave enough to live his faith openly in today's climate. To compare him to Boyd or anyone else IMO is too limiting. I understand the point. Boyd launched Clemson's streak of success like we hope Hooker will do for UT... but I'd be a fan of the guy regardless.

Roger came back from two tours with the Marines as a Lt in Vietnam
I’m not talking about him I’m talking about the rest of the league. Now it’s a year round thing. Special meals, workouts and off season practices. The whole league is a different thing now.

And again it’s not comparing the two as players or people. Its about how a player can change the perception of your program and move it up in recruits eyes. How a great QB can make the whole program better.

I am just thankful for Hooker's decision to come to Tennessee and our coaches ability to bring him along to this point. When he is on point....every team better look out. If this line stays healthy and gives him the time...look out. I am thinking Heisman and National Championship for sure but, gotta get past Georgia and possible Alabama again. Beat those two, win a Natty, and they need to rename Neyland to Neyland-Hooker-Heupel Stadium. Tongue in cheek. That would be soooo sweet though. Beating Florida, Georgia, and Bama twice in the same year....Lord have mercy. Wish my dad could see this.
