Hammond has been running this Visa/Jr. thing into the ground for weeks now. I find it hard to believe that he's the only person that's heard anything about it.

You thought drunk Earnhardt fans throwing beer cans was bad, just wait until they start flinging credit cards with the precision of those card throwers that can slice fruit with a single flick of the wrist.

FOX is going to be the most enjoyable broadcast team on TV this year. TNT absolutely sucks with Bill Weber and the cast of losers they have working for them. I've watched a couple of ESPN's Busch broadcasts, and they are unwatchable. Jerry Punch is great, but Rusty Wallace and Andy Petree are just not that great at all. And Brent Musberger doing pre-race?? What does he know about stock-car racing? FOX isn't great, but it's going to be the best we get.

When I originally heard that ESPN was getting back to broadcast Nascar again I was excited, but I haven't been more disapointed with there crew. Jerry Punch is the only person that knows what he's talking about. Rusty, Andy, and Tim Brewer are just not cut out to broadcast Nascar and then Musberger and Suzy Kolber. It's been a complete disaster to say the least.

nothing is worse than DW and Larry Mac. you have the idiot and the redneck. if i wanted to hear a redneck butcher the English language, i'd head over to the local bar in Maryville.

I will have to agree here as much as it pains me to say it.

Compared to Bill Weber; DW, Hammond, and Larry Mac look like the best trio of broadcasters. Words cannot describe how much I can't stand Weber.

i agree with you, DW and Larry Mac, albeit a little on the redneck side, understand the sport better than anyone doing TV right now and can describe it to the fans in a language that is understandable to the unknowledgeable fan. Weber and the TNT crew just don't get it and ESPN, up to this point, is not doing a good job although they do seem to have guys on the crew who know what they're talking about.
