Honestly hate watching Kirk call their games. You are paid to call the game for the nation,
Not be a Ttown broadcast
He’s been this way forever…when Pete Carroll was at USC, you’d have thought Matt Leinart, Bush and Carroll were his closest relatives..then it was Saban at LSU and Bama..it never ends

My hand is I am a Vols fan and I hate Bama. You, Herbie and Fowler can waste all week crying for them.
A real Vols fan would think what happened last night was long overdue. The broadcast booth meltdown that followed was icing on the cake.
You were correct. Unless you were playing dumb, it was painfully obvious what that statement was referring to. They were already trying to create an argument to keep Bama in the playoffs. They didn’t say they would call the office and demand Bama be kept in, but they alluded to it.

The difference, my dear Vols and Bammer defenders, is that if the call had gone against Tennessee, the ESPN crew would either have agreed with it, or mildly condemned it and moved on, and in the next 10 minutes of the telecast slowly justified it.

If it's Bama or uga on the short end, the crew goes off the rails.

It was a bad call, agreed. Its just interesting to watch the differences in reactions.

Yes they did. "The playoff committee needs to reevaluate how they rank three loss teams" or something similar dribbled out of that clowns mouth last night.
I heard that from the panel on the SEC network after the game.
