For the Northern Illinois game 3 players froom my school, Riverdale, went on recruting trips up to UTK.
Dequinton Sherrill 5'9" 168 Jr. RB
C.J. Overton 5'10" 185 Jr. LB
Brandon Constant 6'2" 251 Jr. DL

These are the three that went. To me CJ looks bigger than 185. he a a BEAST pure muscle.

Coleman? He's not even a starter, and McCallie's program has been on a slide since they changed coaches, and the kid in front of him is good, but not an SEC qb.

Deon Meadows- Smyrna high soph lb kid started as a freshmen could have more potential then Bryson. I was lucky enough to coach both these kids so you can call me a hommer if you wish , but anybody that has seen these two play know that they could be very special.

the only reason he isnt on the list is because I havent seen his film....I've heard alot about him..

Coaches know about baby coleman....regardless of if he starts right now or not..

Yeah, but there's a chance BJ won't even be here, much less start in the near future.

The last thing UT needs is another Ricky C. situation.

Blur, what do you know about the offensive lineman from Cordova High School in Memphis? Tim Michalchuk?
He is in the class of 2010. He is a good friend of mine. He has met with Drayton a few times at school.
He was invited to Tennessee's camp last summer but could not attend. He has received interest from Tennessee, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Duke, Arkansas, and other smaller schools.
He has great size at 6'4, 270. Before his junior season, he benched 300 and squated over 500.
He recently tore his ACL and had surgery yesterday, so that might prevent the staff from going after him right now, but he has been in contact with Tennessee.

I will check on these kids I heard about CJ. What do you guys know about Tim McAdoo? I'm trying to dig up info on him. thanks!

man I hope that you guys go after Chris Sensabaugh (2011)...I am from Kingsport and a Gamecock fan, but this kid has "it". His biggest downside (if you can call it that) is his age (he was like 16 as a freshman). I like seeing these east tennessee kids go to big time div 1 programs, but you guys whiffed on Curt Phillips last year but hopefully you don't miss CS.

We didn't pursue Curt Phillips. We should have IMO, but we didn't.

I went to middle school with him. 3 years ago he a big then and he had to have gotten bigger since then. I know he started as a Soph.. Also Oaklands QB Matthew Schaller is very athletic. He is only a Jr. I dont know how accurate his passes are but i remember that he has a CANNON in baseball if that matters any. Marc Gooch he goes to Seigel he is a BEAST. I played travel football with him in 8th grade and he was atleat 6'1" back then. When riverdale played them he had like 2 tds 165 yards and almost got another td (he got stopped at the one) If you can find out anything about him I would like to know

Last week Marc Gooch had eight catches for 269 yards and two touchdowns. DeQuinton Sherril had 191 yards and four touchdowns on 11 carries. Just some intersting stats..

Tyler Rice from Wayne County High School, which is my alma mater, is a very standout player. Once he matures just a little bit more he is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I may eat my words but by his play last year he is going to be a really good recruit.
