I’ve spent some time in Seattle for business. Mainly around convention center and down toward the water, but I would walk up to Capitol Hill for some of their bars and restaurants. Don’t remember the names of most of them but do remember Lil Woody’s on the outskirts of Capitol Hill was a good place for a burger and a cold beer.
Locals have done a good job covering the stories on r/seattle. I also saw there is now an r/caphillautonomouszone but it’s uuhhh…. a little less serious (maybe one of the hardcore leftist subs you follow already )This is so absurd I wondered if it was actually happening. But they are talking about it on the hardcore leftist subs I follow on Reddit.
I have a buddy who is a police officer in the precinct of Seattle where these "protesters" took over their building. He posted this on facebook:

Can you imagine the wonderment of trying to figure out what to do with a cow?Locals have done a good job covering the stories on r/seattle. I also saw there is now an r/caphillautonomouszone but it’s uuhhh…. a little less serious (maybe one of the hardcore leftist subs you follow already )
My favorite thread so far is “I got you guys a dairy cow! Where should I drop it off?”
Curious, was that actually your friend who personally posted that, and you crossed the name out? Or did he just repost or share it? So far this is an unconfirmed story, the source of which appears to be SPD (who refuse to give details). What you have posted is the only thing that’s “out there” on extortion. Local media initially ran with the story without any fact checking, but journalists and social media have been unable to verify a single account of extortion.
If it is your friend personally who posted it, I’d be interested to know which business made this claim.
There is a reason I said most of these places literally burn down."There are also barricades preventing the Seattle Fire Department from accessing and responding to emergencies.
“We’re working to maintain a bit of health and safety,” said Chief Harold Scoggins of the Seattle Fire Department. “The ultimate goal is we want to see our streets open,” he said.
Some residents in the neighborhood say access to their buildings is blocked.
“It’s a bit stressful. It’s like checking in with somebody to get into your own home,” said Mckenzie Diamond, who lives in the “Autonomous Zone.” “Just making it so people can get into their buildings. Keep the zone however they want, and move the fencing so people can go home,” she said."
Sounds totally awesome and safe. Can't even get fire trucks in if something were to happen.
Protesters and police discuss the ‘Seattle Autonomous Zone’ or ‘CHAZ,’ what’s next
Washington State and Seattle are telling the Feds to butt out and invoking states rights. They’ve created an autonomous zone and advocating insurrection. They already have a statue of Lenin fhat represents their ideology. All they need now is a battle flag and to formally declare secession and they’ll be just like the Confederacy back in the day
I would be all for letting them secedeWashington State and Seattle are telling the Feds to butt out and invoking states rights. They’ve created an autonomous zone and advocating insurrection. I'm a states right's believer, no problem do what you will.....just don't complain, or blame, and be thinking there is anything or anyone who will save the day, or worse, think you are owed help.
Deal with your decisions.
