Looking at the list of demands, was this "demand" just thrown in for the hell of it?

16) We demand that the Seattle Police Department, between now and the time of its abolition in the near future, empty its “lost and found” and return property owned by denizens of the city.

Also, I love the demands on the Seattle PD by saying they are going to do all these things prior to their abolition. The PD officers would likely be like "screw this" if they are going to be let go anyway and just walk.

Sounds like it will resolve on its own if that’s the case then. Hard to take a situation like that very seriously unless of course your property is in the middle of New Petoria and you want no part of it.
