Not sure that people are done with Heupel just yet, but those of us that have been around watching UT football since the early 80's have seen this picture before. The last 2 games doesn't bode well for Heupel. He lost some support with this one tonight. Especially with the classless timeout at the end of the game. This team has all the signs that it's about to implode. Struggled with a poor FCS team last week and then made a bad Florida team look like National Champs for a half. Players being reported as suspended for this game , players only meetings, etc. You're about to see the honeymoon end with the local media in Knoxville. If they struggle next week with UTSA, you'll see the honeymoon end with the fanbase inside Neyland Stadium. When that happens and the really hard questions start he's gonna start feeling the pressure of what it's really like to coach at this University.

Gum chewing numb nut after the game. Wouldn't be surprised if he's already trying to "make amends" with Stoops behind the scenes. OC at his alma mater might be the best place for him.
Worst criticism I can give.
Maybe he's a good coach and maybe I'm wrong but that's how I feel as a Vol fan tonight.

Back to mediocrity . Can we go back to last season??

We wasn’t even close to mediocrity before Huepel got here.

We were at least 4 years from it. Just so happens we had all the right pieces to put together a special season.
So we may be mediocre now but we have a 5 star QB waiting and some pretty talented young guys to get us going for the next 4-5 years

That tends to happen when a 3rd year coach won't bench an absolute dogshiit QB that's almost 30. Nobody has the patience for stupidity anymore..... and that's what it is. Pure stupidity.

Unfortunately, I am way less upset or surprised by tonight than I have been in previous years. We are just not going to be in the running for national or sec championships anymore.

Same here. Not surprised. Definitely fortunate that I didn’t watch the game last night.
