Has Mack Brown even been fired yet?

Name one instance where a coach was actually hired before the current coach was even fired. It may have happened before but I can't think of a time.

"A columnist for the Football Braniacs reported the news from two sources speaking on condition of anonymity."

Well there you have it....how can a group called the "Football Braniacs" be wrong?

No word on ESPN or any other sports stations on Saban leaving Bama. I'll be shocked to see it happen!

Don't see it happening! He's already the highest paid coach in the NCAA so no reason to leave Bama..

I was confident that Saban was staying. Then I read this twelve year old's blog...

He gone. I'm going to stick my head in the oven.

Not saying he will leave but there are a few reasons I can think of off the top of my head.

1) Texas can and will pay a lot more than Bama
2) History of job jumping
3) New Challenge
4) Austin vs Tuscaloosa
5) Alabama fanbase
6) Possible upcoming DJ Fluker investigation

A lot of this is wishful speculation. The rest is biased assumption.

1) Texas can and will pay a lot more than Bama(Texas has their own network and their Athletic budget is 38 million more than Alabama)
2) History of job jumping(Michigan State, LSU, Dolphins, Alabama)
3) New Challenge(It would be a new challenge, right?)
4) Austin vs Tuscaloosa(Most people would prefer Austin to Tuscaloosa)
5) Alabama fanbase(One fan killed another for not being upset about losing to Auburn, Poisoned trees, Teabagging fan, Drunk Bama Dad shoots gun at son after Auburn loss, Harder to get privacy in Tuscaloosa than Austin
6) Possible upcoming DJ Fluker
investigation(This one is the only speculation but there are receipts for the money transfers and Fluker publicly admitted it)

1. No one watches cow tv and Espn has egg on their face for agreeing to it. They'll find a way to dump that trash product soon.

2. Coaches are not fans. This is a job. You get to move when you want, but taking a step down is bad business.

3. It'll be a challenge alright. This is an opinion. I respect yours btw, but that all it is. It's not mine, and neither of us know Saban's opinion.

4. Austin is a fun place for college kids. To everyone else, it's just a city with a Capitol building.

5. Fans = fans. We all have our idiots. Texas is not immune. I'll link you a few articles from this last week for proof if you'd like.

6. Is it possible to coach at a winning program these days without some type of investigation pending?

The job hopping is over blown. He was at MSU for 10 years. Obviously the move to the fertile recruiting grounds of LSU was an upgrade. After winning a couple of SEC titles and a NC he wanted to give the NFL a shot. He quickly learned everyone has 5* players and you can't cherry pick the roster like you can in college so he came back.

There are reasons to move on but I don't think job hopping is one.

Texas can pay more. Austin is way better than Tuscaloosa. This is fact not opinion. The rest is up for debate.

So you spent a night on 6th street. Congrats.

Guys, seriously, it's a cornucopia for a 22 year old male that knows how to play 3 chords on the guitar and likes a little craft beer with his weed, but to a 60 year old man, it might as well be Norman Ok without the snow.
