There were plenty of guys on this board who sounded proud enough of Auburn last week to buy one.

I definitely think all our coaches should wear them on recruiting visits. Recruits will jump at the chance to come to Tennessee to play against teams that win national championships.

It works in NCAA 11. Surely it will be the same in real life.

The SEC affords TN the opportunity to contribute, but TN choose not to. Oher schools spent their millions wisely on proven coaches while TN now has pretty brick.

Yeah. Chizik and Muschamp were just piling up the titles as head coaches. I guess Florida decided to sit out the next few years. And we all know where Auburn spent their money.

Read Chizik's bio, and you'll see that he was head coordinator for two undefeated teams, 10 years as DC altogether. Plus he had experience at Auburn already. There was no way to tell that he would be as good as he's been, but it was not the gamble that Kiffin and Dooley are. Especially Kiffin, the guy just got fired. And Dooley has zero head coordinator experience.

Rub their noses in what? The Vols didn't win anything. This reminds me of Little League where everyone gets a trophy. UT gets destroyed by these teams yearly and loses to ACC teams in bowl games. Bragging rights are pretty hollow when you are promoting the achievements of your most hated rivals. Maybe this is how Vanderbilt fans live with themselves.
