Here's what I saw

I saw improvement today. Had Worley started the game, we may have won. Peterman tanked the offense in the first half. Even one offensive touchdown in the first half may have made a huge difference in the game. The coachng is really good. Our defense is good. When the recruiting catches up (read: next year), we're gonna be a force to be reckoned with. All those that are coming out and saying "I'm done" or claiming a 5-7 season are forgetting that even in a 6-6 or 7-5 season, these last two games were losses. If you're done, then go, and shut the hell up. We are Tennessee, and eventually, we will be the Tennessee we know we can be. GBO

Finally someone with some sense:

For the ignorant shmucks that said they hate this offense, well your stupid @$$ would love it if we were smacking florida in the face.

for the ignorant shmucks that say our coaches suck and can't play calls, well what the hell else are you going to call when the qb can't make even the easiest throw.

there is a lot more of bs I saw on here earlier, people saying their done with UT, fine, why even tell us, just stfu. We don't need you. even florida started playing $hitty when their secondary and others on defense took some losses. That's what a team looks like when losses pile up.
some people need to wake the **** up.

When your my age (30 and over) u can remember what success used to feel like now a days I'm just tired of losing its the same thing over an over new coach 3 years new coach 3 more years its like if its not one thing its another I'm not giving up on them just want to see winning football

"I'm 30 years old and, on this message board, I'm a man. Don't yell at those players, yell at me. I'm the coach here for the next 3 years. Yell at me. I'm not giving up on these players. They're winners. I'm a man. Also, did I tell you, I'm a man."

We started the wrong guy at QB, so I'm not on the good coaching bandwagon. I like Jones's passion and energy, and I want to be optimistic--but it was evident from the start that Peterman and the offense were struggling BADLY, and it was evident to me that he needed to get Worley in there sooner rather than later. And Jones waited till later.

did we just see the best offense in the country with oregon and the best defense in the country with florida?

that'll make a man out of you.

again stressing it was not just peterman in the first half. do y'all even realize how good that defensive front was? absolute animals. takes some time to adjust when you're used to going up against a far less talented 1st team defense in practice every week.

OLine got better as the game wore on though and so did the QB play. if it were switched and worley had played the first half... i dont know.... same result maybe.

edit: clearly worley did a better job and was a more effective game manager... but when there are blitzes getting at you from everywhere.... tyler bray... hell even peyton manning... would have struggled. the difference was the second quarter when the Oline had started to adjust and peterman was still ineffective... worley is clearly better just dont know if he would have stood up to the heat from that first quarter either.

Yes, the coaching was good. That talent is not, and that's the problem. The only coaching mistake that I saw was Peterman getting the start. If he did in fact practice better than Worley, then I do not fault the coaching staff at all. Adjustments were made when they need to be made, and we held our own, it just wasn't enough. I'll tell you what, we'll bring Dooley back so we can watch ourselves lose by 50 in this game.

Deep in your own territory with a qb that is having issues and they call a 30 yd post route. Qb fumbles twice and throws a pick but lets stay with him. Ball on the 20, lets not play field position and go for a field goal. Let's work ourselves into a 3rd and 33. Ya that is great coaching.
